The property was absolutely great, a magical cabin fully stocked with everything you could need and more! Coffee, teas, movies… and many more. The location is unbeatable and the photos represent the views exactly. From the patio you see the Isle of Skye, Egg and Rum. It is magnificent. This was a beautiful property. Every detail had been thought of. The location was perfect, very close to town. It was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The basics were all supplied. It was lovely to turn up to milk, wine and water in the fridge. A very thoughtful owner.

The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome.

The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome. They had the knack of knowing when we needed help. we always felt the staff had time for us - as it should be, There is no lift and as 'older', to put it mildly, visitors, the climb to our room on the third floor was a bit like climbing Ben Nevis and the descent was even more difficult with our dodgy knees. We had chosen a sea view room and it turned out these are on the higher floors. The staff could not have been more helpful, short of carrying us up and down on their backs, and made sure we knew they would carry things up and down for us.

A beautiful hotel in an exceptional location. The staff and service are excellent. Tuan looked after us throughout our stay and made sure we enjoyed our stay as well as making our much loved dog welcome. We felt very much at home here and are already planning a return visit.

Beautiful spot, if I'd stayed longer I could have explored more on foot. But other than the station, the hotel, and a Thai takeaway with a notice saying they were sold out, there's not much there.

The hotel is definitely 3 star in terms of rooms and facilities, but the staff are 5 star. Very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. We travelled with 2 dogs and the hotel was very accommodating.

Small West highland village served by rail and road. Wonderful beach. Close to other first class attractions . Glenfinnan monument viaduct Mallaig 3 miles away is gateway to the isles via various Cal Mac ferries.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the...

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

Perfect setting, within easy reach of Mallaig, Arisaig, Glenfinnan and Fort William. Also only a hundred yards from Loch Morar which has to be THE most beautiful Scenery in the World. Dark sky area for star gazing. Good restaurant very close by in Morar. The 'Harry Potter' steam train runs through Morar. The 'cottage' was perfect for us and everything was provided, including a welcome pack with extras like washing-up liquid, washing machine 'tabs', tea and biscuits etc. It really couldn't have been better.

An older style hotel in a quiet location with great sunset views. A lovely elegant lounge to relax in with a coffee or after dinner drink. My single room was small but had all mod cons and a great view over the water. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful with a few requests I had. Worth booking in for dinner and my salmon was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented- not just pub food.

Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.

Ensuite twin room was comfortable and clean. Stunning views of the islands of Rum, Eigg etc and the white sands of Morar from our hotel room. Also lovely sitting out with a pre-dinner beer on the decking. The evening meals were pricey but excellent as was the superb breakfast. Staff extremely helpful. Plenty of parking. Station is across the road.
