The room was lovely and very comfortable and Wendy, who greeted me on arrival and looked after me at breakfast time, was exceptional. Super friendly and helpful! The stand-out thing for me was the breakfast. I had the veggie one and it was just delicious! Super portion, freshly cooked, and just great!

The Staff at the Crown is absolutely amazing. We had quite a rookie journey and they were incredibly helpful, we can't thank them enough for their hospitality and everything they've provided for us. Special thanks to Vivianne for taking such good care of us, we really appreciate it. Would recommend to stay there any time. Thank you :))

If you have kids who love sandy beaches AND will stay within bounds, they'll be in heaven. If you love a wide, well-surfaced prom for a wheelchair of some rollerblades, so will you. If you want sophisticated dining options, or nightlife that isn't centred on slot machines, I'd look elsewhere. One thing Morecambe does offer is a cheaper overnight option than Lancaster, without being too far to travel - and The Lake District is within easy reach for a day out away from the seaside. Oh, and the statue of Eric Morecambe, of course!

Morecambe is renowned for its beautiful sunsets.

Morecambe is renowned for its beautiful sunsets. The beach is very clean and dog friendly. Lots of cafes on the seafront with a lovely long flat promenade. Some parts are in need of tlc but we have just been awarded a £10 million grant and with the Eden project due to begin soon it will bring more tourists into the area. The winter gardens is well worth a visit. Tĥeres Live music in the platform and many of the pubs.with jump rush, laser quest and lots of arcades for the children. It's definitely worth a visit

We have stopped in Morcambe overnight before. The promenade is great for a good walk after a long drive. However generally the pavements are dreadful. Uneven, potholes etc. Sadly like too many towns, this basic tidyness and general upkeep being allowed to fall far short.

Sadly Morcambe looked very run down and seedy. We were here a couple of years ago and it seemed better then. Needs regenerating. However to note it was a cloudy drizzly monday and everywhere was closed.

Morecambe is an old seaside town that has past it's glory days but has a lot of character because of it. It has a huge old-school crammed second hand bookshop and has a few art initiatives. I feel like people will either expect somewhere in better fortune or love that it's a neglected town trying. It must have been incredible in its heyday and there is a lot of evidence of that in the town. I loved it.

Morecambe is a quiet bayside resort - it has clearly had better days in the 60's and 70's... and is sorely in need of an economic revival - the beachside is peppered with small gambling spots and modest pubs / restaurants. Easy to navigate and a good launching spot for the lakes district tourism.

Very convenient to the beach . We were out of season but staff work very hard to accommodate people . It’s a shame the restaurant on the premises is not open as I feel it would do very well . A lot of Green King and Wetherspoons in the area but some recommended the Morecambe Hotel which we went too good was excellent and portions were huge would definitely recommend . My husband found a lovely ice cream van on the sea front near the hotel the ice cream Whippy was amazing he kept going back to it

I had an incredible stay at the Craigwell Hotel in Morecambe! The room was warm, spotless, and perfectly organized, which made it feel very cozy. Ed and John were amazing hosts—Ed was especially attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious and generous in size, definitely a highlight! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend the Craigwell 100%!
