Pool area is beautiful, nice steam room, sauna and whirlpool. Entire facility us beautifully decorated and full of charm. We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. The Pub is excellent...best meal we had on 2 weeks in the UK! Excellent food, superb staff. The Pub staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Our last night we were just hanging out I'm the lobby and decided to get dessert and coffee. The wait staff delivered it right to us, with a smile.

Dining at Henrock was a highlight—the food, service, and ambiance were mind-blowing, easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had.     Great location and beautiful looking hotel and spa, two night stay, bed size real issue, very small double, well used bed, dated hotel. Pool and sauna and steam room was ok, pool cold. Food great on valentine's night, waited very long time after asking multiple staff for a drink. Second night restaurant food, not good cold food, kitchen staff argument and lots of ppl getting the wrong food. Staff look like they have been working 16 hour shifts. Unorganised mess at times, very short staffed. Hotel needs an injection of cash, spent on it asap. Get rid of the awful curtains..

    Newby Bridge is a very old and characterful area.

    Newby Bridge is a very old and characterful area. There aren't any pubs other than the Swan Hotel and Lakeside Hotel , which are great. The walks are wonderful around the lake . Will return when the steam train is running.

    We had a great stay.

    We had a great stay. We travelled around the lakes taking in places of interest. We felt 5 days would have done instead of 7 days. The site needed some maintenance around the grounds, trees could have been better maintained and ground cover cut back. It's ideal for people wanting a quiet stay but is handy for the tourist attractions.

    Beautiful location with plenty of places to visit nearby.

    Beautiful location with plenty of places to visit nearby. We take the steam railway a short walk away to lake Windermere and then a boat trip. Suits us. The hotel also has a gym and swimming pool facility which is a nice bonus.

    Car park was too far from the hotel but everything else were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were lovely in the restaurant. Location was great and easy to get to. We enjoyed the Lake District, the boat and steam train ride. The room was lovely and clean and well laid out. We didn't have to go to far to get to our room. The bed and pillows were rather comfy. The hotel staff were really lovely, friendly, polite and helpful. Overall hospitality was excellent.

    The hotel was very comfortable, rooms were large and lovely views. Facilities were v good, and especially enjoyed using the swimming pool. We had a delicious meal too. But what made it for us was the staff, especially the Irish chap. He was so great with the children and was very funny says my 8 yr old! The hospitality was excellent. We had already stayed at 2 well known 4 star hotels on our trip and we had a far more enjoyable time and restful sleep staying here. Would definitely stay again.

    Very modern, clean and comfortable. Very spacious and every thing required. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes, very comfortable beds!! Lovely luxury bath sheets and hand towels. Kitchen/living area spacious and all kitchen items required for self catering. Laundry facilities great too! Location is very good for visiting all towns nearby. Rusland Pool pub/hotel has a great menu and Large petrol station nearby has supermarket and Costa!
