We only stayed one night, as we were time limited.

We only stayed one night, as we were time limited. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was quiet and very clean. Room had everything we needed. If we had more time we would of sampled the menu, but we will be back! Continental breakfast was a good selection, with various pastries brought out fresh. If that's not enough cooked breakfast is also available as an option. What's not to like?

Newick is as pretty a little place as any in Sussex.....but a road runs through it....quite a busy one. Despite that, there are still things to delight.......there is a quaint 11th Century church, a pleasant play ground and a dear little bakery, along with the usual delightful Sussex cottages and houses with their unique architecture. There are three pubs, and a village shop that has just about anything and everything. We stayed at The Bull, which was fine, and had one meal there, which was also good. It's a perfect centre from which to explore, and there are some lovely places to walk nearby, both woods and heath.

Location perfect . Full of character .

Location perfect . Full of character . Breakfast plentiful. But a bit cold on our second morning . Staff helpful and attentive. The billing arrangement was a bit strange as one has to settle the evening meal cost’s each evening and not at the end of your stay . Never had that before . Apparently this allows the management to see how the accounts add up ?.

Newick is a lovely quiet, tranquil village with several pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed our meals at Newick Tandoori and The Bull On The Green. Newick is within easy reach of other towns, villages and attractions.
