Lovely little place with many quirky little shops and overlooked Lodge Grounds, which is a huge park-like space for walking, admiring gage aviary and many beautiful planted areas, and has a children’s play area. Most people head straight for the beach, but other attractions such as the museum and Seabird Centre, Berwick Law and sports centre, all well worth a visit. A lovely well kept seaside town with nice range of independent shops and eating places. Wonderful walks on the beaches with superb views out to the Bass Rock, Fidra etc. Beautiful flowers everywhere including at the pretty little station. North Berwick is an adorable seaside town with beautiful scenic views and an amazing golf course. We enjoyed the quaint shops and restaurants as well as hiking the law. Getting around was so simple. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to go back and forth to our accommodations. One word of caution, most places stop serving dinner by 8:00pm. North Berwick a lovely town with two sandy beaches, and boat trips to islands to see the sea birds. Seabird Centre is a bit expensive to go in but we did go in to see the camera's of the seabirds nesting - the puffin camera gave us really good views but the camera on gannet colony - the picture kept breaking up ?due to windy conditions. We had a lovely sea view room with every amenity you could need, very comfortable bed too. Breakfast was excellent and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. Indeed, this was the case with every staff member we met. The leisure facilities are excellent and the fact you can utilise them until 1pm on the day of your departure is a real bonus.
