We ate at a restaurant called Simply Italian. The food was amazing and there was a friendly atmosphere. The bus service was very good, times of the buses were accurate. Nice parade of little shops. Restaurants expensive and the pubs for the food that was provided. Menus in Restaurants didn't have enough variety. Went to Hastings for the day. Rye has lovely old building and some very old pubs, it is full of narrow streets but once you get your bearings it is lovely. You can go up the church tower for lovely views and we were lucky enough to get a guided walk around the Rye Harbour nature reserve.Guest review byElaine

The location is perfect for exploring Rye and we managed to park in the car park opposite which was a bonus. The room was spacious, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We had a fabulous lunch at the hotel. The best crab sandwiches EVER and an ice cold bottle of Chenin Blanc - Perfect.
