My wife and I are huge fans of all of west Wales. Lovely towns and villages, welcoming people and excellent beaches and countryside. Saundersfoot is a lovely seaside town with a great beach, lively harbour and plenty of shops, bars and eating places. It's a great walking area as well with adjacent villages such as Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth within walking distance. Tenby is a larger town with all the amenities and is only a 5 minute drive away. Lovely place to visit. Parking was very close to the beach but limited spaces. Had to drive around for a short time before finding a space. Cost of parking a little more expensive than parking in town. My daughter and granddaughter have coeliacs disease. The Boat house pub was an excellent place to eat. For a small town Saundersfoot has loads of shops, cafes, and restaurants. We were spoilt for choice for places to eat supper, and as a family group (with 3 generations to cater for) it was easy to find places that suited all tastes.The Boat house was our favourite, followed by HARBWR and Kookaba. The property was located just a short walk into Saudersfoot and Glen Beach which we found really convenient. Plenty of options for food and drink and a fantastic beach and walks. A whole different atmosphere again. 5 minutes from the beach. 2 lovely walks. 1 - Wiseman’s Bridge through the tunnels and a pub for a pit stop. 2 - up the hill out of the hotel car park and first left onto The Glen takes you to the coastal path/woods and then onto the beach (if the tide is out).
