Southborough is a small town close to Tunbridge Wells, lovely wooded area and village green complete with cricket pitch and church with chiming bells. This trip was intended for two days.
This trip was intended for two days. It turned out that we had to deal with a family emergency while we were there and we were able to book a further 4 nights in the room. The staff were AMAZING, helpful, caring , kind, friendly and totally, professional., Tristan , Bruno and Solly in particular . As well as the lovely ladies that cleaned the room during our stay. Very pleasant area we were visiting Sissinghurst and Chartwell. There is a cricket ground just across the road from the hotel and to sit and watch an evening game while enjoying a glass or two of real ale is a joy. Dirty mug and someone else razor was left in my bathroom . My first attempt to eat at their restaurant was a disaster no one to great you empty restaurant and I was left for over 20 minutes to get anyone attention . I gave up and left.
