    The grounds were beautiful, the food sublime but most importantly, the service was impeccable. This was a birthday weekend and Holly at the spa and Anna / Sam at the dining room really made it an unforgettable one, doing their very best to make it perfect. I’d like to echo again how impressed we were especially with the three named members of staff - they are assets to the hotel and spa and hopefully will be there / promoted for a long time to come. We will hope to see them when we come back in the spring!

I've had the privilege of staying in many nice hotels around the world over the years, including being upgraded to a suite as we were here but I think this may have been my favourite of them all!     The hotel is stunning, its very grand and steeped in history. Its tired in places but this adds to the charm. Every where was so clean and tidy and the staff were amazing, they made us feel so welcome.
