Very comfortable quite room, we had 14 for dinner which was a late booking and the food and staff was excellent. Breakfast offered great choice, only disappointment the kitchen manager closed breakfast service without consultation while we were still ion the restaurant.

Breakfast was continental ,however you could pay for a good choice of cooked breakfast . Every member of staff were genuinely lovely and couldn't be more helpful . Clare was really good in letting us know of the different places to visit and made our rooms up every day to a very high standard , just a really happy and friendly person . The room was beautiful and had everything you could need as was the restaurant food and it's plush furnishing made it a really luxury place to stay.

The staff at reception were very helpful and very polite. The dinner was very good indeed and the staff were gorgeous. The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable that I slept in and missed breakfast..... Oooops.

    Room very good. Staff excellent. Had a small issue with TV which was sorted very quickly. Restaurant excellent. Bar had a good atmosphere. It's not huge so has a 'personal' feel. Felt it was well located for the Town Centre and Iron bridge Gorge, each being around 5 miles away.

    Business trip.

    Business trip. Visited Great Dawley as a guest of the Town Council for Dawley Day. Preparation for the 150th anniversary of Captain Matthew Webb's first English Channel crossing. Dawley Day was brilliant, put on by the Town Council for families and it was free. Managed to visit Telford Steam Railway for photographic reasons and drop off some of my artwork.

    I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford.

    I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford. Excellent museum, but part of it is currently closed for refurbishments. Don't let that put you off visiting, though. The Italian Restaurant (Radici) at Shifnal is excellent.

    Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from...

    Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from the Holiday inn. The centre is very large with a fantastic array of shops and places to eat. Just a short drive from Telford centre is the iron bridge gorge with the iconic iron bridge and museums which well worth a visit. Also close to Telford is RAF Cosford aircraft museum which is free to enter you only pay for parking. The aircraft museum is vast also containing the cold war collection of V bombers. There are simulators to have a ride in and hands on activities for the kids to have go at. Very impressive museum.

    Great place to visit lots to see and do Ironbridge is a must great tea rooms views are amazing and during the week quiet weekends does get very busy Pubs offer get meal deals worth checking them out

    Lots of places to see.

    Lots of places to see. The Ironbridge museums were especially interesting, much Wenlock was superb. Plenty of shops and places to eat etc. We especially liked the Woodbridge Inn near Ironbridge for food and location

    I stayed here with my daughter for the second time, for a shopping weekend. Booking the swimming slots is easy and we always make the most of the swimming pool when we are here. All the staff were welcoming and polite. The hotel is clean, and surrounded in a leafy area of Telford. Our room was amazing and had a recent refurbishment, where we had a great view of the park. The 10 minute walk into the town centre was helpful for us, so we will definitely continue to stay here again.

    Proximity to all the local amenities. I was in Telford for a competition at the Telford International Centre for the weekend and being able to walk there was really easy. I spent very little time at the property itself so can’t comment on the leisure facilities (gym and pool) or restaurant. In terms of the room, pretty standard hotel room - double bed (comfy), TV, hairdryer, iron, kettle and tea/coffee, and a bathroom with bath/shower.
