Lovely historic pub with rooms above, but quiet, comfortable, and safe. Liked · Terrific place to stay. I had a single room, traveling alone, but the room met all my expectations and needs. I had a room at the back on a small side residential street, so it was very quiet. No problems with noise, even though the room was above a restaurant pub. Staff was so helpful. Didn’t do any meals there, and was out most of each day to an event. But, it was very well located right in the middle of the town, lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants very close by. Directly across from the Abbey, short walk to the other end of town for shopping and to the venue. Always felt safe when out walking around on my own, even at night. Has the historic charm in the pub/restaurant, but found my room to be modern and comfortable.

The location was excellent - very quiet and with lovely views but also close to the town. The house was very clean, well-equipped and well presented. The information from the hosts was clear and detailed, both before the stay and the information provided in the house.

we loved the many Tudor buildings, not least our hotel, the Tudor House; also the splendid church where we attended evensong, which was of a high standard. it was sad to sense that this lovely little town does not seem very prosperous. it was a good location from which to branch out and see other places - Worcester and Gloucester cathedrals, Berkeley Castle etc.

Easy access to city ,only comment would be that we would like to leave our car at the hotel and walk to the city but if we return later, but this is not possible due to the lack of lighting on the drive way to the hotel ,small issue but could make a lot of difference in winter months

Lovely place to visit, The Abbey is a must, a walk around the back streets is recommended, so many old houses & buildings, I don't think any of them had a proper even roof , The walk along the river is lovely, some very nice coffee shops on the way, some over looking the river, so very leisurely, I would say the only downside we found was the amount of traffic on the main road , so make sue to use the crossings.

Having driven past Tewkesbury on the M5 more times than I care to recall, it was chosen as a geographical half way point for a meet up with friends. So impressed, I immediately returned for another visit with my wife. Tewkesbury is perhaps a hidden gem if interested in history. Countless historical and attractive buildings in the main streets; a good Battlefield walk (1471 - War of the Roses) across adjacent fields with information panels throughout and leaflet (£1) from Tourist Information office ; Beautiful Abbey; Riverside walks and pleasant boat trips; Museum and separate Heritage Centre, and a nature park for more walks, on the flood plain. Numerous cafes and places to eat. All above on, or easy walking from the centre itself. We were very impressed. Should have visited before.

We enjoy just wandering around the shops and particularly liked the Abbey. There were a few pubs that we enjoyed visiting as well. Beautiful walks across the river in the Ham, and good information about what we were seeing.

Tewkesbury has preserved and celebrates its history.

Tewkesbury has preserved and celebrates its history. The building are often centuries old and mixed together. None of that planning nonsense of whether new buildings fitted in; more of an attitude of it's your land: build what you like.

Very impressed with our stay at tewkesbury park hotel. It was one of the cheapest hotels that we had a choice from and was blown away by the surrounding scenery and views from the breakfast room and bedroom. Excellent facilities and beautiful rooms particularly the bedroom and large bathroom. In close proximity to a great highstreet full of independent shops. We are already planning when to return. Thank you for a fantastic stay

Beautiful building, slightly quirky interior, a pleasant change from identical looking chain hotels. The room was warm, clean and comfy and the staff (especially the receptionist) were super friendly. The location, opposite the Abbey and close to the High Street, couldn’t be better.
