Our room was a fantastic seaview room. Room n°2. The size was more than we expected. We checked in late afternoon when the cafe was closed, but i was given the code to the entrance prior to arriving.

Went to watch Scotland v Figi. Great stay. I'm gluten-free and enjoyed the schlar cornflakes and the Dove bodywash shampoo, etc, much better than other rival hotels

Best thing? Welcome cookies! 🍪 Room was clean and tidy with comfortable big double bed. We specifically liked the electrical sockets for EU chargers as we didn’t have an adapter. Tasty breakfast and nice choice of delicious options for a la carte dinner in the dining room with splendid view of the bridges. Very good location if you have a rent a car as there is wide free parking lot and good connection with Airport and Edinburgh. There is also a bus station just next to the hotel (20 min ride) to the centre of Edinburgh. Staff is very friendly, cleaning lady made our day with her sense of humour (check the picture).

I visited this hotel with my wife and an 17 years old daughter. The surrounding area outside the hotel was very quite with a private car park. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and a private bathroom.

    Great location for our purpose.

    Great location for our purpose. The house has everything and is spacious enough. Nicely decorated with plenty useful things and extras you don’t get often when staying in self contained accommodation.

    Gorgeous comfortable & spotlessly clean cottage in a quiet village, lots of nearby towns, parks, places to eat, railway station, makes an ideal base for exploring the area, and if you just want to relax, the cottage and garden are perfect for this too
