The Apartment is located in a very peaceful rural setting, yet only 5-10mins from Wootton Bassett or the M4. Hosts Diane & Martin are very friendly and welcoming, and easily contactable for any issues (there were none). The apartment is open and airy with lovely views across open countryside. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely friendly staff & management, very hospitable, felt like they genuinely wanted us to be as comfortable as possible & enjoy our stay. The food, decor, vibe & cleanliness all v good (& the shower better than ours at home). Feels like a lot of heart goes into this hotel. Will deffo return If back in that area in future.

We've checked-in at 9:30pm coming from Heathrow Airport to pick-up my sister, upon checking in, we've been greeted by Sydelle with her big smile and welcoming presence. The check in was smooth, easy and was a very pleasant experience with Sydelle being kind and courteous the whole time. She was considerate to the situation of the long journeys my sister took and was very polite and want to thank her for such a wonderful welcome and her professionalism. Please do pass on our thank you as we didn't get the chance to say it again when we checked out.

The staff could not have been more helpful, we were a group of 10 with only one English speaker and they were very patient when it came to ordering etc as it was slower than usual. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The car park has good access to the hotel. The food was great, both for the evening meal and for breakfast.

The location is great if you are travelling around the area...

The location is great if you are travelling around the area or passing through about 1 mile from the M4. The pub next door which is all part of the complex offers good breakfast facilities as well as lunch and dinner options. Royal Wooton Bassett is about half a mile further on with a busy high street of mostly independent shops .

Unfortunately we only had a fleeting view of this busy town as we we were only there for one night . The day being spent at MOD Lyneham before travelling on to Somerset after a lunch at Sally's Pusseys

On arrival the staff were very helpful.

On arrival the staff were very helpful. We had to pay straight away. We were shown to our rooms and they did not live up to expectations of the website. The carpet was stained everywhere, The bathroom was moldy and the radiator was rusty. There was no large mirror in the bedroom only head height in the bathroom. This meant I had to plug the hairdryer near the bathroom and pull the cable into the bathroom which wasn't long enough. The walls were full of marks and screws in the walls. There was no chair to use so always had to sit on the bed. Head board was dirty where other guests had put their heads. It was very tired. Also we were charged £80 per night and there was no breakfast supplied even though we found out a conference was being held at the hotel and they got breakfast. I find this very expensive for what we got. We only stayed the one night if it was more I would of tried to go elsewhere. Not very happy.

Well where do I start?! Nice things! The front and only garden was OK, There was this really lovely member of staff she was the only person there for you at breakfast! and she was so helpful but she was pretty mad at bosses and I DO NOT blame her she was used like a doormat, she had to endure the embarrassing condition of the GLASSROOM RESTAURANT, It was absolutely Filthy the spider webs had cobwebs hanging from them, the roof blinds were broken and tattered, I have never encountered such filth in an eating are and that poor woman was distressed and embarrassed at the condition of the place. She was the only good thing about our stay.

We lived in Royal Wootton Bassett many years ago so we know the town and the surrounding area well. It is a very picturesque town with plenty of pubs and places to eat. It is well located for visiting other places in the area e.g. Swindon, Marlborough, Malmsbury.

Nothing much to like except the bed was quite comfy .

Nothing much to like except the bed was quite comfy . It is in the process of being taken over by another company which is why they are in a bit of a mess and so disorganised . The staff are not happy which reflects on the guests so until they get their act together and employ more staff I would not recommend anyone to stay there as the tariffs they charge are ridiculous and do not reflect the kind of service given.

The initial impression was better than later. The manager welcomed us and arranged for our bags to be put in the room when it was ready, as we had arrived before check min time but had an event to attend, so wanted to leave our bags with him. And when we got to the room, the bags were there, so all well and good. The hotel bar is pleasantly cosy with a number of different spaces

I have stayed at this hotel previously and found it to be very good hence my booking again. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful and there is a good selection of food available throughout the day at the adjoining pub/restaurant which was well priced and very tasty.

There's not much to do with the torrential rain we had in Royal Wootton Bassett, but absolutely what we both needed, just to chill and eat 😁 Phil, the host, answered my messages swiftly and was very helpful in where to go for food around the area. I did not have breakfast. Location was very good, easy access from the M4 and a short drive into Wooton. Restaurant was very good and very efficient staff. Hotel guests are given a discount on their restaurant bill.
