Excellent little boutique winery, with fabulous staff including a few who spoke great English which helped. The wine is super yummy and awesome food both dinner and breakfast. Very welcoming to families with little kids, who adored the puppy labradors. What a charming place. New modern and amazing bed. We really appreciated the dedication of Armaz and his insight into the wine, place and general tourist advice, a sincere young man who helps make Sazano Winery great .

Gregori and his parents are lovely people who shared their home with us. Gregori speaks English and showed us his little farm. He gave us travel recommendations. We enjoyed plenty of homemade delicious food (best Khatchapuri Georgias) and wine. It is a wonderful place to relax and come in touch with Georgian life in the countryside. We had a wonderful time at this hotel – we absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially with our child. They truly went above and beyond, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. We’ve been traveling around Georgia for a week, and this has definitely been the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Also, the breakfast was the best of the whole trip – delicious, varied, and made with quality ingredients. The facilities are exceptional: everything is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet – perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. This was a very comfortable cottage to stay in. There was lots of room to relax inside as well as outside. The bathroom area was large and very clean. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment to cook with, as well as ample coffee, sugar, tea, etc etc. The host provided us with a nice bottle of wine, fruit, and treats 😋 . The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect to visit Katskhi Pillar. It is a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk away. Communication with the host was excellent. IMO it is much nicer to stay somewhere like here than in the town Chiatura... It is ideal to have a car when staying here.

Honestly, this was THE BEST place we have stayed so far during our 3-month travel all the way from Central Asia to Georgia. Eterie, the sweet land lady with the most welcoming smile and preparing delicious breakfasts maximized the joy of our stay at her beautiful guesthouse with multiple rooms. Ours, was a double bedroom with the most comfortable bed and mattress, and a newly renovated bathroom. The room is well-lit overlooking a spacious balcony with an eternal view towards distant green mountains. Also, we were privileged to have the company of cute cats sometimes. I should add that two little doggos would give us lots of wagging tales and smiles. In return, we would pet them and receive so much love. To summarize, the level of serenity of this place was beyond my expectation. Loved it, and if I go back to Georgia, I will definitely go to Tkibuli and stay in GK guesthouse again.
