The city is amazing!

The city is amazing! Perfect combination of historic architecture and modern buildings. Food was okay. Found great places for local ones. And the streets are beautiful. The river was my fav!! Moving around the city on foot can get confusing sometimes! We couldn’t find crossings! And there were a lot to do! So next time maybe I plan a longer one.

On the first day in Tbilisi we went to Rike Park and then by the cable car up to see the views of Tbilisi at sunset. Then we walked on the Bridge of Peace and went to the east side of Mtvkari river. We had dinner at Shatre, Sabatono and some other restaurants. It was easy and inexpensive to get around the city with a Bolt. A visit to the Mtatsminda Park and Botanical garden is for young children.

The city itself is a beautiful mix of old and new. Walking through the cobbled streets of the Old Town, you’re surrounded by centuries of history, colorful balconies, and stunning views from Narikala Fortress. At the same time, modern cafés, art spaces, and vibrant neighborhoods like Vera and Vake show how alive and evolving the city is. Public transport is efficient, and the Metro system is easy to navigate. I appreciated how affordable everything was—from food to travel—and how safe I felt exploring both day and night. Tbilisi is a 2-3 night stay max. I got a very nice feeling in the city center, relaxed atmosphere, but I think there is nothing to do if you go to the outskirts and there is not really that much to do apart from walk around the main attractions. The food is amazing, definitely try the egg Khachapuri and Khinkali. Good attractions to go is to use the cable cars to see the view from the hill, visit the big church on the other side of the river, and walk around the old city which is where I found most of the restaurants. The service in Tbilisi was very slow, be ready to wait for 20 minutes for your drink / food to be served. Never take the scammer taxi drivers from the airport and take Bolt everywhere, you can go all around the city for the price of £2 - £8 max. Using Bolt from the aiport to the city center was around £20.

Penthouse hotel is really value for money, it is in a great location, walking distance to old town, the cable car that goes up to the Mother of Georgia, and 5 minutes' away from Alvabari metro station. The staff were helpful, my parents fell sick during the trip and they helped to make an appointment with a local doctor and arrange a taxi to send them there. Breakfast range was limited and it would have been nice to have fresh bread but we thought that the French toast and pancakes were good. Water was hot and pressure was good.

Comfy place with large rooms on Kakheti highway, from which you can catch bus #337 across the street to go to the airport or catch a bus into Tbilisi center from right in front of the hotel. It's on the bottom floor of an old "massif" apartment block, but the rooms are relatively modern.Varketli metro is close and that area is very ative with shops, restaurants and activity. Actually I've been in Tbilisi for five moths and it is the most active area I've seen yet with non touristy modern Georgian life7

Rooms is Rooms. An amazing hotel with beautiful super stylish interiors and superb attention to detail. A few nice social areas both inside (the kitchen) and outside (the garden). Exceptional breakfast (sadly we did not have dinner at the hotel, but it looks tempting). Nice local options for both food and drinks. Really cozy terraces on the top floor. Great location. Helps creat even more memories every visit to Georgia.

Beautiful modern decor with a twist of original features restored. Great spacious room for a family of 4. Lovely balcony overlooking the quiet road. Breakfast was simple, continental with some Georgian delicacies. Easy controlled AC in the room. Essential toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers were an extra added touch. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating. The location is a short walk from the centre of the old town.

We loved the hotel very much. Irakli was a great host. We felt very much taken care of during our first days in Georgia. Everything worked out perfect. Communication quick, offered car rental was super. Very reliable und responsive. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast delicious. You can walk to Old town and into Vera. Highly recommended!
