The hotel complex is well laid out.
The hotel complex is well laid out. Although set in a hill there are plenty of lifts if you don't like using stairs. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Bathrooms are modern and clean. It's a great place to just relax by the pool by the bar or on your balcony. It's north facing so full sun in the morning. There is a good gym and a beauty spa. The evening entertainment is varied and of a good standard. A lot of the shows are held in an open air ampitheatre ideal for a summers evening. There is a regular bus run by the hotel down to the local beach which is helpful as the road down is steep and narrow. The restaurant is excellent. The choice and quality of food is outstanding and delicious. The staff are helpful and always have a smile on their faces. I liked the sea - we were in October and the weather was perfect. We took a boat for self boating - no license is required and it was great. We had a very good sea experience, swimming, free diving (snorkel) and jumping from the boat... we could see a sea turtle and flying fishes... we mostly cooked our own food in the villa. The beach and the waters are not bad. Everything else unfortunately is: getting there, inadequate road signs and parking space, the village and the roads are a total mess. The kitchen was also well equipped and the air conditioner was working really good. The pool was very big, clean and offered many sunbeds with umbrellas. The staff is amazing and the whole hotel area is just pretty. There are many plants growing fruits and vegetables and we were allowed to pick some figs and grapes. Our room was clean and modern and the balcony view was fantastic. The common areas, especially the pool and pool bar, were top-notch and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation.
