The hotel is directly on a great beach. It offers also a beautiful cleen pool and a restaurant with great food and super service. Also we could order directly from our sunbeds on the beach. The rooms are well maintained, clean and confortable. You can easy recognise here owners with an eye for all the details making life easy and beautiful. George, Zorana, Juliet and all the staff are very friendly, eficient and making our holidays perfect.

Superb location - The apartment is brand new and clean like on the pictures, also next to it there is a bar/restaurant and the beautiful beach. Host and staff is very friendly, kind and flexible. Beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend. FYI: No reception, upon arrival you need to call the host and the staff will come and give you the keys.

    The beaches were lovely and gently shelving which made it really safe for everyone. We often walked round to the padded sunbeds near the port of Alykanas, which were 15 euros a days but so much more comfortable than the hotel ones. The town has a good selections of shops, bars and restaurants and you can also walk up to Alykes town along the canal

    Good selection of restaurants at fair prices, Greccos for fresh fish was superb and plenty of places served authentic Greek dishes. We found that 'free wine' was best avoided although the food was good! Costa's on the beach was very good and Shoestring further down the coast is well worth a visit. The Mitsos Hotel welcomes visitors and has a large swimming pool and refreshments served to sunbeds for anyone who goes there - all you have to do is buy refreshments at reasonable prices. This seems to apply to all places with a pool and sunbeds. The hire car was a mixed blessing as the satnav had to be paired with my mobile phone and sat coverage is partial. Driving at night on unlit mountain roads with the few signposts in Greek is not relaxing.

    It a lovely place with lots of great restaurants and bars. The beaches are lovely and 2 villages are in a walkable distance so choice is vast. It has a really safe feel and so friendly be that bar owners/restaurant or holiday makers.

    This was my second visit to Alikanas and I will be back...

    This was my second visit to Alikanas and I will be back again! It is such a good location for lazy beach and pool days. Easy to hire a car or bike or go on a boat trip to explore the island. The people are really friendly and there is a relaxed vibe wherever you go. There are some fantastic restaurants that have authentic Greek dishes at a reasonable price. I highly recommend The Mill Bar for food and entertainment. Their Greek dancing night is not to be missed!!

    Small little town, good for a relaxing stay. Not much partying or the like happening. Some good restaurants. Beer was always served ice cold which was great. Not many activities to tap into. The location needs some investment to really come to life.

    I’d suggest you get here soon, whilst it retains an element of the farming area, soon to be lost as it’s concreted over. It’s probably got all the rooms and eateries it will ever needbut when did that ever stop progress ? Fab sandy beach and shallow harbour. Enough nice walking in all directions. Perhaps there was a Obese’n Inky Festival taking place on the week I visited, way too many wide loads pavement blocking, desperately searching for another fill up !

    We never go back to the same hotel twice but we enjoyed the Grapevines that much in 2022 that we returned this year. We stayed in the new block where the rooms are modern and well appointed. The pool area is large and there was never a shortage of beds. The breakfasts are lovely and a nice variety. The Grapevines is in a quiet location about 15 minutes to the beach and a stroll to the bars and restaurants. Andi, the owner is friendly and very obliging as is the new bar man. We will definitely return at some point in the future.

    Location (is just right on the beach!), staff, spacious rooms Hotel is great for families, quiet, with sandy beach, not too much attractions and entertainments - great to rest. There is a variety of food (there is a choise of few non-diary milk every day for the breakfasts!), fruits available all day. However you could add just simple labels about allergens in every meal and vegetarian options (not so obvious)

    Perfect location, very clean rooms and really nice staff. If I come back to Zakynthos I will definitely stay here again!! It is situated next to the center of a little village with plenty restaurants and shops, there are also a couple nice beaches close to it and we could use the pool from the hotel next to it. We had an amazing stay at Antonio Studios. 100% recommended

    The warmest welcome from the family and staff. The location could not be better right in the heart. Don’t be put off by noise because at night it’s quiet. Downstairs there is an excellent Restaurant. Over the road (Zante Nest and excellent upmarket pool which you will find a warm welcome)
