This is the Greek Alps.
This is the Greek Alps. A spectacular area worth taking the time to explore, which I will do on another occasion. I generally follow the costal route while traveling by ferry from Italy to Greece, I had time this trip and I was so pleased to discover this area, this aspect of Greece. Some of the highlights for us: its traditional decoration, fireplace and the view to the pine trees and the nearby mountains from our windows. Although outside was chilly, in our room we were warm and slept comfortably. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet downstairs and the view from the dining room was breathtaking.
