The location of Asterion Suites & Spa is very special and really a small paradise in Crete. The personell is super friendly and absolutely professional. The manager George is a very special character that made the stay a real perfection. We had a suite with a private pool and everything there was first class, super clean, excellently equipped and stood out all expectations. The cuisine is first class too. And finally every staff member was super friendly, the pool bar is superior and the personell there is extra ordinary and the close distance to the sea is just all in all a fantastic place and we will certainly come back.

The property is super clean, beautifully kept, great rooms, a nice bar, two lovely pools and across the road to a beach. The staff are wonderful particularly the reception lady who was genuinely interested in your experience and fantastic at making your stay the best. It was my first solo holiday and I booked it by accident. What a Great accident! This trip has given me back the confidence to travel alone. The hotel is geared towards giving you the choice of making friends or enjoying your own company. The people were lovely and I ended up going on a great trip with them. There is a mixture of ages but of course its luck so just go with an open mind as I did. As someone who travels a lot alone but never to a solo hotel it was brilliant to be around like minded people who you could go places with. It’s a little outside of the town which was not a problem at all as it’s a short bus ride anywhere. There is a reason so many people go back and I definitely will as well!!! If you go with an open mind you will have a fantastic time!!!

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel seemed full, but yet there were plenty of free sunbeds by the pool and the private beach. The best part of the hotel is the private beach, as it is very quiet and the beach is very clean. The hotel is isolated but still very accessible, so well suited for a few days of relaxation.

Amazing hotel, it is not a huge resort, but big enough to have everything you would want 1) Stuff is amazing, going above and beyond to keep customers happy. Everybody knew us by name by first morning. It felt great. No bracelets, stuff just knows their guests and they been very flexible and nice to us. 2) Food - very fresh, tasty, healthy. I'd say rather simple, but good (every meal there been 2-3 more elaborated options) 3) Hotel is literally on the beach. Rooms with sea view is so close by the sea, that on balcony you feel already on a beach. there been no fights for sunbeds, it seemed to have enough for everybody 4) We got better room, that we have booked. it was huge and bed/pillows was comfortable

    This is a wonderful little hotel.

    This is a wonderful little hotel. The setting is beautiful – in the foothills of the Cretan mountains, this traditional farmhouse with pretty gardens and olive groves, is just a fifteen minute drive down to the coast. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and full of character, and every room has its own outdoor seating area. Guests will enjoy the delicious breakfast and home-cooked dinner (if you wish) on the al fresco terrace, overlooking the olive grove and the Mediterranean beyond. (We loved the sunsets from the terrace and the swimming pool.) But, best of all is the warm welcome and all the help we received from Efi and her staff - nothing was too much trouble. We loved our holiday at Elia and are already looking forward to going back.
