Asprovalta is small town with a lot of restaurants and taverns, where you can try local cosine. The prices are very reasonable. The town is also full of supermarkets and small shops. The beach is very long, spacious beach with plenty of secluded spots where you can relax and sunbathe for free, far from the crowds. In the center, you'll find organized areas with comfy sunbeds and umbrellas available at reasonable prices. The water is deep, 5-10 meters in the water and you will not be able to step on the seabed. From the comments and reviews I read, I was so skeptical about this hotel that there were mosquitoes, that there were no mosquito nets, that it was cramped, disgustingly dirty, and when we arrived I was so pleasantly surprised that I was disappointed... Hotel Angela is a wonderful hotel, normal for the money I paid... I'm talking about apartment number 13 - a wonderful wide apartment with two views of both the sea and the mountains, with two separate bedrooms, with a large kitchen and dining table for dining, wide, clean, the bathroom is a little smaller but it's not like it was written in some of the reviews. We had a small unwanted problem with the electricity, the hosts were so quick and efficient that they fixed the problem for us immediately... Asprovalta is a vibrant and charming place, full of bars, restaurants, shops, and a pleasant beach boardwalk. The public beach is several kilometers long offering options for both paid sun beds as well as free placement on the sand. Beautiful place to visit, very good beach (fit for families with kids or romantic travels), perfectly clean water, easy and smooth access in the water, excellent restaurants to eat, easy to travel to. You could literally ask them everything as they are very responsive. The place was very quiet and you could really take a rest. At the same time is 3-5minutes by walk to the Nea Vrasna beach and 7-10minutes by car to Asprovalta. There are as well markets and pharmacy near the I&L aparments. All the restaurants were within walking distance, and at the same time, in the evening, there was no trace of the noise and bustle of nightlife.
