This is a beautiful area, though quiet and with limited dining options. Great beach (Golden beach) with good service and reasonable prices. For a relaxed stay without lots of tourists, this is a good place. You will have to take a bus ride (1 hour) or drive from the main port in Paros to get to this less visited part of the island. I found this beach to be so relaxing.
I found this beach to be so relaxing. Granted, it was the end of the summer season so most tourists were in places like Naoussa rather than the more remote beaches, but even in the summer, I imagine it is still more "quiet" than the other villages. It is a gorgeous area. I recommend renting a car or other motor vehicle to see more of the island. The friendliness and helpfulness of staff was outstanding! The hotel was relaxing with fabulous views. Breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fish was a treat. Did not like the remoteness and really needed a car. No shop within walking distance. Did not like the background music - awful. Food that was pre-cooked was not reheated enough! Ie Lamb, mousaka. No drinking water supplied in rooms. Loved the comfortable beds! Bus service on the island is not good and taxis are expensive.
