lovely holiday spot, plenty of shops and restaurants, everyone extremely friendly and helpful. About an hour from airport, went to spinalonga and did a few walks, also did the 4 hour train ride which was lovely to see mountains, bit of history etc, wasnt too hot. Both of the bays were good and safe for swimming - one of them a bit pebbly getting in, the other was fine. Supermarkets well stocked. It was very pretty and friendly, not too busy although I imagine it would be earlier in season. We visited end Aug into Sept. Lots of choice of restaurants and bars. Elounda is a lovely safe area. It is kept very clean and tidy. Good for young famalies and couples. Not so lively for teenagers, young adults with no clubs. There is a great choice of restaurants, most of which have great views. the quality of the food in general is good, the choice of food is very similar in most of the restaurants. The service of the restaurants is generally good, although many of them get quite busy at the same time, so you need to be patient.Guest review byKym - 10.0
Amazing place.
Amazing place. The small fishing town was a really nice place to visit for an evening off the all inclusive resort. Plenty of restaurants and bars overlooking a really nice harbour. We were lucky that our resort was right up in the hills and the views were stunning.Guest review byDen - 10.0

Great location. Incredible views to wake up to each morning . Two beaches to choose from . Breakfast excellent . All staff could not be more helpful. Definitely recommend for family or a couple looking for a few days relaxing away. High end. Very civilised without being pretentious . The location is breathtaking, the architecture blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere invites you to relax from the very first moment. Everything is tastefully designed and impeccably maintained. From the warm welcome to the smallest attentions throughout our stay, the service was flawless. The entire staff was incredibly kind and professional — always ready to assist with a smile. A very special thank you to Chrisa, who truly made a difference. She was supportive, helpful, and incredibly warm, going above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. Her genuine care and kindness touched us deeply.
