Grikos is a pretty sea-front village with five tavernas, one organised beach and two unorganised beaches. It's perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The port of Skala, the main town, is 3 kilometres away, and buses costing two euros run regularly throughout the day and into the early evening. There's also a car and scooter hire establishment for those who prefer their own transport. There is no grocery-store in Grikos, but Skala is close enough to not make this too much of an inconvenience.Guest review byLoraineUnited Kingdom

It is in walking distance to restaurants, cafes, beach and local bus. We did not need to hire a car and used the local bus to visit Kampos beach, Chora and Skala. Amazing accommodation for 6 adults comfortably. Great outdoor area with sunbeds for relaxing during the day and evenings under the stars. Thomas really is a superhost, from his warm welcome at the Skala port to helping us out with any practical needs during our stay, he made us feel at home. We now have a friend at Patmos ! The apartment is simple and clean, just perfectly situated at a 5' walk to the beautiful Grikos beach with little taverns for fresh fish meals. Everything was just perfect. Very clean rooms with all modern facilities, rooms were cleaned and linen changed twice a day . Very friendly staff and manager Emmanuel found time to take us around to show the facilities.
