Our visit to Knossos and the Archeological Museum made our trip very worthwhile. Heraklion itself - very noisy, busy, a bit chaotic, a bit scruffy. In town centre were nice pedestrian streets with loads of nice restaurants and bars. We could have just drinks or coffees or small plates or full meals, so it was flexible and people were nice. we only stayed one night to catch the ferry, as such I'm ill-equipped to review it as we arrived late afternoon and left early the next morning. I can say that you'll hear planes as frequent at 2-5 minutes apart at certain times of the day.Guest review byAnonymous
