    Ioannina is a fantastic vibrant city to visit, many cafes and tavernas to enjoy your stay. The hotel was just great and centrally located. The city come alive after dark and was a joy to walk the streets and side alleys with cafes, eateries and gift shops to please any tastes and desires.

    Stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer.

    Stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer. Beautiful walks beside the lake. Lovely island on the lake to explore with a fascinating history. Castle area also interesting and very atmospheric especially in the evening. The new town was extremely lively after dark with lots of great shops and restaurants. Highly recommended visiting.

    This place is perfect for any type of person!!

    This place is perfect for any type of person!! You want a calm environment? This is the place for you. Inspiration? The place for you. Nightlife? Also the place for you. (paradoxically) Adventure? The place for you (but rent or have a car, 'cause these places are 1h or more by car, from Ioannina). There is something for everyone. Food is excellent: Our favorite is Nava, this is a Gourmet Restaurant, but they also have Pinsa and burger, etc. (Cocktails are topnotch as well!!). We also loved Balsamico, Arte (in the citadelle/fortress), and Cafe Chevalier (also in the fortress, amazing place to have a healthy drink, amazing coffee with artisanal ingredients, as well as artisanal home-made ice-cream with no sugar. The environment is poetical!). Ioannina is the perfect place for both day and night life. The fact that in the fortress is basically a neighborhood, makes this place even more amazing. It's like a city inside the city. It blew our minds... It's amazing for having a walk (day or night), eat, have a coffee, or visiting museums (the castle). There is also the island on the lake (Nissos) which is absolutely amazing! You get there by taxi-boat (20 minutes). We are seriously thinking of moving there some time soon if life allows :D <3.

    Ioannina is a beautiful city with a gorgeous lake and a lovely park. It’s a great base for exploring the stunning surrounding scenery like the Vikos gorge and the mountain villages as well as having excellent restaurants and bars and a ferry service across the lake to the island which is both picturesque and interesting. Made a great start to what then went on to being a beach holiday. I would recommend 3-4 nights in Ioannina.

    I actually cut my stay short by one night S l was unwell with a head cold and on my own l would go again but late autumn. It was very hot there, Second wee of June However l feel to take in the full atmosphere of this lovely city autumn would be at its best. It’s very laid back, selection of eateries was good.

    The location of the hotel is super comfortable and near the city center (10 min walk). It has a very comfortable parking space/area on the street 5 min away from the hotel. The breakfast was a great VFM choice, and the lady owner was preparing it everyday with something different. The traditionally made Greek coffee is great too. I would definitely suggest the place for couples, lone travelers and professionals, as it's quiet and near the most interesting sites of the city.

    This is a nice and friendly family-run guesthouse in the quiet suburb village of Perama; if you have a car, it is close to the city center of Ioannina with easy access to the motorways and several grocery shops, coffee places, eateries etc. It is perfect if you wish to drive around and explore all the surroundings. Ioannina is a beautiful, very cosmopolitan and historical city to visit.

    The hotel is located 5min by car from Ioannina University and 10min from the city center. It is cosy and very nicely decorated! The room is modern with a comfortable bed and a/c. All the staff and the owner were really nice and helpful. They even arranged earlier breakfast time for one day, only to serve kids who had to report for an exam at the uni!

    The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, 10 mins from the lake and near many shops and markets of the city center. We found the place perfectly clean , it was easy to get the keys and the house had almost everything we needed to feel like home . Plus really important since parking is hard in ioannina center it had its own parking space

    The host is very very accommodating and helpful. We felt at home here. The apartment itself was by far my favourite stay in all of Greece. Loved the kitchen and the space overall. It was located outside of Ioannina, but I would stay again despite this factor.
