Wonderful warm welcome from the owner Nico, it’s a lovely hotel with amazing views of the sea. We opted for the breakfast which was delicious. Our host was so helpful and kind. It was a wonderful stay.

We got special attentions for our 30 year noneymoon: fruit, wine, room with a view,... again special thanks to the staff. We will have amazing memories to our vacation here (among which the sailing trip with Maria, Alex, Georgio and of course father Anastasius Raki LXIX) The entire village has excellent seafood restaurants

This is a family run property, as warm as the brothers and staff is towards your every need from check in all the way to check out, it's still operated very professionally. The room was perfect, everything you may need and it comes with the greatest sea view. Just infront of your room with a good size balcony to enjoy your time off the beach. I could say lot more but simply the following is a total 10/10 Great staff All the local info given if requested and very good tips from a local view. Its a place to isolate if you want. The apartment offers all the things that you need to stay. The owner left us some welcome drinks and a pleasant surprise for breakfast. The house has a nice design and its next to the coast. In a few kilometres there is the village Kastri with many taverns with good food and affordable prices. Outside the house (in the garden) there is everything you need to sit next to the coast and enjoy the sound of the sea.

This is a true place of tranquility, situated ~100m above sea level and with a stunning view on the Lybian Sea. There are only these 4 houses in the middle of an olive tree plantation, all nicely arranged with tasteful architecture. It consists of a living room / kitchen and 2 identical bedrooms, all with a view to the sea. All doors are equipped with mosquito nets, including even the front door. The owner is a very nice host and takes very good care of her guests. She also left some groceries for our arrival :) The house is reachable via a narrow, pretty steep road. Very good tavernas down in the villages by the sea. Only small supermarkets in the village. Nice beaches are easily reachable next to the village down the road. Car is required.

The apartments are lovely and situated with a gorgeous mountain view. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The bathroom is equipped with a variety of shampoos, condintoners and care products, which is very convenient when traveling with low-fare airlines and hand luggage only. The kitchen is well equipped as well. You can arrive at Vienna Apartments and start living there.

    It’s a very small village, with literally just two grocery shops and one seasonal fish shop. If you're looking for peace and a simple, slow-paced life, this place is perfect. Just know that nothing stays open after 10 PM—early nights come standard here.

    It is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for quiet...

    It is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for quiet place with astounding natural beauty, staying in a secluded luxury villa, and fresh food. I recommend staying at Skouros Villa for the private beach and magical views. And eating out at Jimmy’s tavern. Georgia, the owner grows her own organic produce and the restaurant offers amazing authentic dishes like zucchini flower wraps, vine leaf wraps, garlic and onion sautéed aubergine as well as delicious zucchini patties. You must have a rental car to travel around. Use a company called Yours from Heraklion which works out to be €11 per day.
