We really loved this hotel. Everything was so clean, rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff were really nice and they helped us book airport shuttle. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. And let’s not forget about two cute hotel cats that are well taken care of! The hotel gave us wine as a welcome gift and some local products as a goodbye gift. It was an amazing stay♥️

What a lovely and welcoming guesthouse Locandiera is. Very lovely team, Paolo and Tamara were very hospitable and friendly, delicious and very generous brekkie with plenty of vegan options, amazing location and super comfy beds! Me and my partner had an amazing 10-night stay at TRYP by Wyndham. The staff were welcoming and always ready to assist. Our room was spacious, clean and featured a balcony overlooking the garden. The breakfast buffet included fresh pastries, local dishes, fruit and much more. The pool area was also very nice and clean. Everything exceeded our expectations. Kommeno is well placed for sightseeing around the island but you need a car to make the most of it. It is not so good for easy access to a beach which would have been nice as it was about 40 degrees C every day of our stay! We liked the Hyalus cafe for breakfast and had a delicious meal in Avalle restaurant.

Great food on offer, super helpful and friendly staff, lovely pool area, good facilities in general..very relaxing. Not much to see in local area - you need a car! Taxis to Corfu town and airport around €25-35. The food is great but you wouldn’t want to eat there every night so you would need a car/taxi to get you alternatives. The spa options are very pricy so not sure if they’d get that many guests. It’s not a 5 star in my opinion but a very nice 4 star. 5 star properties should not have damp in the room on walls (peeling paint) not should smell like sewage. It’s seems quite a package holiday venue - bookable with Tui and BA holidays etc . Get yourself into Corfu town and have a look around the back streets, fortress and into some of the wonderful restaurants on offer there! Kommeno is not near a beach but they do offer buses on some days.

A great place to stay, hire a car to get around as it is a bit of a steep walk to get public transport. Some good local restaurants/tavernas close by but also in the gouvia/dassia/ypsos areas, lots of places to eat also with sea views and a good variety.Spiros and his wife very friendly and always willing to help in any way whilst enjoying a greek coffee. TIps for trips or organising transfers/taxis not a problem.

A peaceful, friendly location on a hill above a pretty beach. Some watersports available at the beach but these do not spoil the tranquil atmosphere. Sunbeds and umbrellas available-seem to be run by the local hotel but no charges were made and the beach is open to non residents. Sandy beach with lovely, clear water. Great for small children as very sheltered and calm. Up on the hill above, a few lovely tavernas (Apovrado, Panorama and Sea View: a small taverna and mini market that sells basic supplies and is run by two lovely, friendly ladies). All of the staff we met in restaurants, tavernas etc. were warm and welcoming. Easy bus ride to Corfu Town (from the main road about 20 minutes walk away) or to surrounding beach resorts with more facilities if required. Lots of steps to the beach and a little hilly around the resort so possibly not great for those who would struggle with this. Some of the most stunning views I've seen in Greece and hard to beat for peace, quiet and relaxation.

15 minutes into town- this was second part of our holiday so...

15 minutes into town- this was second part of our holiday so are in Corfu town most nights. Cabs cost €25 one way and take 4 people. We only in our hotel in Kommeno didn’t venture out as too hot. But private beach here is lovely. Only for hotel guests. Lots of super yachts moored in the bay.

Spacious top floor 2 bedroom apartment in a small complex. The views are beautiful over the water from the balcony which runs across the front of the apartment. There was room for a large dining table. The sitting area had 3 sofas, there was also a dining table and an island with 3 stools. The kitchen was v spacious with full oven and hob. Main bedroom is also spacious, bedding and pillows were comfortable. It's a few minutes walk to a restaurant and some shops. The bus service to Corfu town was regular and also a 5 minute walk away.

The 2 main restaurants plus breakfast restaurant were excellent for the menus, the variety and quality of the food, service and staff. Very good modern bedroom, bathroom, decor. Superb primary and secondary swimming pools Great views from villas on hillside , nice size grounds, plenty of greenery ( access to villas by steep driveway, or steps or funicular —- slow !). Most staff were very willing, happy and keen to help Quiet site away from main road and just metres away from the sheltered bay

Our hotel was so amazing! The best was the astonishing sea view, pool and amazing staff! The staff helped us with everything we needed, with suggestions on places to visit and renting a scooter. Would recommend this hotel for everyone who is searching for a relaxing stay away from big crowds. Renting a vehicle is definitely convenient, since the hotel is a bit far from the bus stop.
