Great little small town in central Greece - my husband's village not far from there. Beautiful part of Greece - great starting point for day trips into the magnificient surrounding area (Edessa, Meteora etc.). Visiting the Saturday Bazaar (greek version of our farmer's market) is a must - it's just so neat and the prices of fresh veggies and fruit - unbelievable. A quiet town, far from the usual tourist crowd.
A quiet town, far from the usual tourist crowd. In the center, the plateau is very lively thanks to the street musicians. Their music is better than any of the surrounding restaurants. Thanks to that, we missed dinner, but we don't regret it. We enjoyed! We did not have time to visit the city and its surroundings in more detail, and we will do so next time. The welcome from the receptionist was friendly, helpful and professional - a great start to my stay! The room was clean, well-equipped and top class.
