The town was very nice and friendly. I liked the architecture in the town & enjoyed walking around. I October the place was quiet but weather was sunny and warm. Good food , highly recommend Anti Varo restaurant. Cocktails go to Cubana bar & get a zombie . Had a great day on boat trip with Epitonia . Really gorgeous, quite substantial town with lots of very nice shops and restaurants. There is a beach just out of town which I didn’t visit so can’t comment on that. We went on the Odysseus boat trip which was excellent. This is a great place if you like boats. A hire car is needed if you want to get to the excellent beaches to the west and south. Family own and operated, very attentive and accommodating to your needs. The place was very clean inside and out and had excellent parking in front of the hotel, a short walk to town, very quiet for restful nights and a beautiful infinity pool, however I wish it was open past 7 PM in the summer.. if you stay there, you will enjoy all the modern conveniences in this new build…Guest review byCherylUnited States - 6.0

It’s a nice place to visit, but to come back a second time, you probably need to be a kite or windsurfing enthusiast - there’s a lot of wind almost all the time. The surfing places seemed quite busy, though. If you're traveling with kids, be aware that sandy, shallow beaches are rare; most have stones and aren't ideal for easy water access. The few nice beaches that do exist are often difficult to reach, either by car or on foot, and all of them charge for umbrellas and chairs. Touristic cruises around the nearby islands can be a fun activity. However, traffic can be a real challenge - narrow streets, aggressive car and scooter drivers, and limited parking in the cities make getting around stressful.Guest review byNikolayBulgaria - 10
Lefkada is a gorgeous island with amazing beaches.
Lefkada is a gorgeous island with amazing beaches. Egremni and Kathisma are a dream! Apart from the famous beaches, it is also worth seeing other, more remore shores. Lovely little Town with nice shops and Tavernas. Main street and square lively in the evenings. Lots of choices of food and drinks. We loved the Lighthouse down a side street and all the places in the main square were good. Indigo was excellent for breakfast and lovely staff. On our way, we got a flat tire nearby and ended up flagging down a random car, which brought us here and helped us call a tow truck. The staff and fellow guests were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is great –just a short drive to the city and beaches.
