Well prepared room, perfect service and very helpful and kind stuff. For example I asked if they have cigarettes in store, they told me that they dont have but also offered me their own new pack of cigarettes from their grandmother. We did not use their beach because we dont like stone beaches but it is very clean and nice. We were driving 5 minutes to the sand beach nearby. Every day they asked if we need something and if everything is ok. By me this was a place I will visit next time. Also everything can be payed by card with no problem. This is the right place to take rest if you want to spend holidays. Nobody was making noise at night and the spa was perfect to take rest after the day.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The landlady Vaso is amazing, we might go back there just to see her. We were greeted warmly, we had no difficulty in communicating. It is a great advantage to have easy access and parking. Fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and everything was of high quality.

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a...

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a mountain one, but Litochoro offers exactly that - in 15-30 minutes by car you can be either in the heart of Olympus or on a sandy beach that looks out a travel brochure. If you head to the beach, we recommend the one between Paralia and Olympiaki Akti a little up north along the coast - there is golden sand, no rocks at all, and no crowds. If you head to the mountain, take the road to Prionia and make sure you stop at the Monastery of Saint Dionysios and Stavros Refuge along the way - the views are truly breathtaking all throughout the trip In the city center, check out the maritime museum, the park, and the restaurants and bakeries along the park. The old church is pretty impressive as well. All in all, a great destination, not just in the summer!

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus.

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus. Lovely place, close to Enipeas gorge, and it´s fantastic waterfalls and lagoons. On one side, few kms from the ocean, on the other side the mountains stand tall. So it´s a perfect place to start the hike to the Olympus, or just go to the beach. It is also the finish line of the Olympus Marathon, and I can only recommend. Nice cafes, restaurants, tourist shops, and the views are gorgeous.

Very nice place, perfectly positioned between the mountains and the sea. We have already spent the night in Litochoro twice on our way to the Peloponnese and Skiathos, but we decided to spend our summer here next year. The nightlife and entertainment is excellent, there are many bars and restaurants, especially when you go down the beautiful promenade to the river. In the town itself, we liked eating the most at the Meze-Meze restaurant with excellent food.

The whole selling point of the town is Mount Olympus yet their blue ribband walk to Prionia is closed as five bridges are down. It is a national park and a unesco biosphere and yet the locals do not give a damn!

Martina and her team were there to greet us, gave us helpful...

Martina and her team were there to greet us, gave us helpful advice about hiking, rang a taxi for us to get to Priona to do a walk to the monastery and gave us extra pots and pans and some olive oil so that we could cook a simple meal in our room. We stayed in early May and our room on the second floor opened onto a large shared terrace with a great view of the town and mountains. Although this is a shared communal space, and could get busy in summer, we were fortunate to have it to ourselves most of the time. We also enjoyed meeting our neighbours when the adjacent room was booked. A peaceful and welcoming guesthouse with good facilities and very well located too.

We really loved our stay at this property. This is perfect for people who like quiet accomodations (and not the crowd in Paralia). The beach is very close (5 min. walk) and it’s wild and empty. Mount Olympus is 45 minutes away, for climbers. Litochoro village (15 min. away) is charming, with nice shops and taverns. The appartment is very nice, with a well equipped kitchen and everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It comes with a nice terrace, in a large yard. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We hope we’ll come back one day.

I was with my motorbike touring Greece and wanted to crush also Mount Olympus. The place is pitch perfect because is close enough for the start of the hike and peaceful to gather the strength needed. We were only staying for the night and we had one of the loveliest welcomes of our journey through Greece. Thank you so much to Androula and all the staff. The breakfast was really fresh and homemade, a real highlight, and the room was classic and lovely. Honestly I would stop looking and book your stay at Robolo. I would also like to recommend To Pazari for dinner.

Evi and Andreis were exceptional. They gave me great recommendations for hiking the mountain and making the most of my time in town. The room was great and the view was incredible. Breakfast was also terrific! My favorite in Greece of any hotel I stayed at.
