Nice view, modern furniture and equipment, there was everything you may need from the iron to wine opener. There was always someone at the reception ready to fulfill our needs and especially lady Eleni was really nice. She ket us for early check-in and we could also stay by the pool after check-out. We would definitely come back.

Our room was in a perfect position right by the pool, very peaceful. Maybe not for everyone but we never felt overlooked or lacking privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic, the two big asks for any hotel stay. The room was spacious and well equipped, perfect min every way. All of the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, so friendly every single day, from George on reception, Nikos and Nik on the bar and the lovely waitresses in the restaurant, cannot fault them. They were all amazing and a credit to the place. Location was perfect, a minute to the beach with lovely tavernas to choose from and a short stroll into town. A perfect week, and would 100% recommend.

Great location for beach and Skiathos town. Right on a bus route that made getting to other beaches/port easy. Some great beach front restaurants about 5 mins walk. Staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful, especially Maria. Breakfast was lovely. Room was great with amazing views, cleaned daily, fridge + we asked for a kettle to make a morning cuppa. Would definitely go back

We had a lovely room with a sea view balcony. Fantastic breakfast including sautéed mushrooms 🤩. The staff, especially the afternoon-evening office lady exceptional, warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast chef is lovely too. Beautiful pool and close to beaches. We are coming back here. Skiathos too ticks all the boxes for us.

Everything. The staff are without exception all absolutely brilliant. So helpful and always smiling and happy. Not just a faceless team but individual members of staff all happily working together. They are interested in talking but always remain courteous and respectful. Thank you to the reception ladies who were particularly helpful in finding us another room for the night when our ferry was cancelled. To Dimitris, to the girls in the breakfast room. Skiathos is awesome, small, very lush, with plenty of excellent beaches, very friendly locals and impressive cuisine (sometimes unfortunately toned down a bit to meet the taste of the tourists; look for places a bit off the main throughfares). The only issue is that it gets very crowded and there are a lot of obnoxious and loud British, who seem to think that they own the place. Visiting the Monastery of Evangelistria is a must (the aforementioned British are excused from this). Local honey and wine are exquisite (for the latter, refer to the wine list in the restaurant). The hotel is very close to Koukounaries Beach (5 mins walk, downhill - uphill on the way back...), which is beautiful, but quite noisy and crowded, especially in the early afternoon, when the water taxis bring in hordes of tourists from the city. Banana Beach is supposed to be very nice, but has all but been taken over by the nearby luxury hotel, could not find a way there. Best bet is to rent a car and visit the genuinely awesome secluded beaches on the western/northern shore, accessible via a dirt road (watch out for people, who do have a quad, but not common sense). Note that there are only a few understocked and overpriced shops and small choice of restaurants in the area. For shopping groceries, rent a car and head to one of the Sklavenitis shops (biggest one is next to the airport). The hotel itself comprises of several small buildings scattered around in a beautifully kept garden, rooms are nice and spacious. The swimming pool is quite small, but there is no reason why anyone would spend any time there with all the awesome beaches around. The staff are very professional, helpful and kind. As regards breakfast: this is one of the rare cases when "excellent" is right on point.

    This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.

    Loved the location – just a 12-minute walk to the port, which made everything so convenient. The accommodation was perfect – clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. What truly made the stay special was the staff. A heartfelt thank you to Anthi (Άνθη) and John for going above and beyond – your warmth and hospitality made all the difference!

    Easy 10-15 minute walk into town, with frequent and easy...

    Easy 10-15 minute walk into town, with frequent and easy access to the bus route from east to west of the island, with only a 3Euro charge from one end to the other. A great quad bike and scooter hire locally, with two well-stocked supermarkets, not to mention the resident cockerel and turkey that can be heard up above the beach in the hills. Surrounded by beautiful pine forest covered hills that meet with an abundance of olive, lemon trees, and grape vines, interspersed with flashes of shocking pink, red, white and purple flowers and climbers.

    We stayed as a couple at Fiorella, which is excellent value...

    We stayed as a couple at Fiorella, which is excellent value for money within its price bracket. The hotel and the neighbouring apartments with the pool area and cafe bar are owned by the same family; the two buildings interlink like one property. Our room was very clean with a comfortable king size bed, shower room, mini fridge for our use and a balcony with seating. Linen was changed daily. Views were of the pool and the stunning coast beyond. The pool area with sunbeds, tables and chairs was located adjacent to the cafe bar providing snacks and drinks. Elias and his father who run the bar are both charming and very welcoming. They offer an excellent Thursday evening bbq. There is a regular bus service from Skiathos Town that runs every 10 minutes along the coast road to all the beaches. The local sandy Megali Ammos beach has plenty of tavernas for food and drinks. The Fiorella is located 300m up a very steep hill off the main road, so maybe not good if you are unfit. We are both in our sixties and were fine to take the hill slowly. Taxi’s are easily sourced through Elias. Also there is no permanently manned reception so our arrival late evening, as expected by the Fiorella, was a little stressful. Elias at the bar was more than helpful. Maybe a buzzer from reception through to the owner would be an idea? In summary we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

    The hotel location is not ideal for a person unable to walk uphill and lots of steps - the bus service from the main road is frequent about every 15 minutes into town or to other beach areas along the coast

    It was quite a natural beach with not too many sunbeds and parasols. Much quieter down one end with a small beach bar and busier the other end with a good selection of bars and restaurants, It had a nice view.

    The apartment was lovely and clean. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower, and clean towels were provided every day. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils. Good-sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Great balcony overlooking the neat, well maintained garden. The location was perfect with a 5 mins walk to the beach, a shop next door, and a 15 min walk to Skiathos Town. So, to sum it up: Spotless, well equipped, perfect location and run by lovely friendly, and helpful hosts 👌

    Very nice hotel with partly new facilities, under rated. The hotel is only15 minites walk from Skiathos town, it has direct beach access and ts own pool. Directly putside the hotel on the street it is a bus stop where the "beach bus" stops, that will take you to many of the beautiful beaces on the island for some Euros. The breakfast is really good and you can by lunch in the pool/beach bar, really cousy feeling.

    Villa Athena was excellent and Karen and Org, our hosts, were great, they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The views from the studio were brilliant. Skiathos is a lovely town and the many beaches within an easy and inexpensive bus ride are amongst the best anywhere. Skiathos has plenty of restaurants offering excellent food at affordable prices.
