We visited late September, weather perfect, crowds not crazy, perfect time of year to visit the islands in Greece. We've been during high season (July) and crowds made it less enjoyable. We stayed 3 nights, and that was perfect to do what we wanted to do and get a great feel for Mykonos in our opinion. Getting around on foot & bus was easy and inexpensive. Very walkable, beaches very accessible by bus for 2 Euros. More expensive that say Paros, but, worth experiencing for a 2-3 days. Ferry to Delos island was easy and 25 Euros each and amazing experience. Any more time would be too much on this island. It is known for its "party" style, however, we had a relaxing trip and felt none of the crazy party atmosphere. Which was exactly what we wanted.Guest review byLesaUnited States - 10.0

Some great restaurants, though vegetarians have to look harder, some amazing views and a unique charm. Can be tricky to get around if you have restricted mobility, but it is worth the effort. It was different to all the old towns we have visited in our trip- it was straight streets rather than meandering steps up hills. There are hills with steps, but on the outskirts. As an Australian I didn’t come for the beaches…. Ours are first class but the sea water is more beautiful and crystal clear in the Mediterranean and Adriatic. The town itself is unique with quaint cobbled alleyways and restaurants everywhere and shops. It’s European style . Summer must be a nightmare with all the tourists so September for us was great, still warm and good weather. The bus routes are on opposite sides of the waterfront. One bus runs that way and the other ,the other way …… hope that makes sense. One leaves from the old port and the other from Fabrika square . Plenty of hired scooters or quad bikes available to explore the island . My first impression was not favourable but the next day had a better impression and enjoyed the two days in Mykonos . Long enough for me . We stayed in a beautiful hotel at the top of the hill called hotel Damianos … beautiful beautiful hotel , lovely breakfast, super friendly staff , lovely pool area and very reasonably priced . We visited Mykonos during September 2025. Stayed 14 days there. Visited the most important beaches and several very good restaurants. We rented a car. During our holiday the days were mostly windy so we spent the most of time at beaches of island south side. (beaches Ornos, Psarou, Paradise and super Paradise). After visiting to windmills we went to Paralia Megali Ammos. Mikonos is offering something for everybody - very good (and not expensive) restaurants located in old city port, near of Municipal Library and deeper inside of Hora (Kostas restaurant).Guest review byMagveSerbia
