After 20-th of September is almost closed. Try to head Friday market in Neoi Poroi ( only 10 km to the N). Also there you can meet good food location which provide you take away meal. Slowly deepening sea, sandy, not crowded beach with beautiful view to the mountains, calm and relaxing area, safe for children (small car traffic), good restaurants, hospitable local people. Good location for trips: - Meteoras: 1:40 hour - Olympus mountain, Prionia (starting point to Enipeas waterfalls): 1 hour - Dion archeological park: 40 minutes - Platamonas Castle: 20 minutes by car This area should be much better advertised for families with children.Guest review byGeorginaHungary - 8.0

A very quiet, intimate Greek town. It has all the amenities you need for a seaside holiday. There you will find restaurants and shops, restaurants with sun loungers on the beach. Very nice and large, quiet beach, good for swimming. Food stores everywhere, easy to find cheap food, fish, vegetables, fruit, and chocolate cakes. Public market in the Neo Poroi every friday.
