Parikia is a great location.
Parikia is a great location. More authentic and less busy than Naoussa. Shopping and restaurant's were great and in my opinion much cheaper than Naoussa. It's one of the main port areas. Easy to get around to other destination. We used the public transport.. the local bus was just perfect.. takes you all along the island, just should now where you want to go and if confused the bus depo has a small kiosk with all information. A useful tip you can purchase a 10 euro pass pp, applicable for the whole day, just hop on and hop off the bus at various locations and see at your pace. I wouldn't recommend Paroikia and generally Paros to a couple or a family or to anyone who wants to relax, or is not extremely wealthy, or really young to care about anything. Everything was - not just - expensive, but overpriced. The things to do, food, drinks and beaches are mediocre. The island is fully packed with teenagers that just take space and make noise and if you want to avoid them you have to overpay for it. Many places were not giving receipts, other places were charging more and did not admit it, exploiting tourists every way possible, because the demand is huge and they don't care. Very bad service almost everywhere. Very bad food except if you pay more than 50 per person... otherwise garbage or toilet. You wanna go for instagram feed, go to Mykonos or Santorini for almost the same price. You wanna relax, go to other not popular islands or Peloponese. Parikia is a lovely resort, couple of beaches in town & you can catch the boat easily to Anti Paros, Krios & Martsello. The town has a lovely vibe, busy but not rowdy. Lots of bars & restaurants to choose from. It’s easy to get around the island by bus to visit other resorts like Aliki & Naoussa, which are both beautiful. We had a great time staying in Parikia. 5 nights was the perfect amount of time to visit the island and try out different restaurants along the coast. Highly recommend Dry Paros (Italian restaurant) and the snorkeling/boat tour out to the blue lagoon. We were able to get around the island mainly by walking and could visit Naoussa by bus and ferry easily enough, didn’t need to hire a vehicle.Guest review byHaileyAustralia

The hotel is brand new, only having been open for a couple of months. Situated in the heart of Paros, it took us only a couple of minutes to walk down from the Port and then a couple of minutes to walk through to the streets of Parikia. The rooms were spacious and very clean, beds were extremely comfortable. Room was suitable for 4 people, even though we were only 3. Loved the little patio off of our room. Courtyard was nice to sit and have a drink in the shade. Room was large and bathroom was large as well (which does not seem to be the norm in Greece).
