The house is very clean, cozy, with a superb voew of the sunset. It's in a very quiet place, yet facilities like tavernas in Pigi are easily accessible. The owner is kind and helpful. We highly recommend this accomodation.

Maria was amazing!! She brought us cake when we arrived even though it was early hours of the morning, she gave us suggestions for places to eat, she even organised our taxi to the airport. Marias apartments were clean and had everything we needed, with Maria just a message away if we needed anything. Maria was also kind enough to let us stay at the apartment on our last day until our taxi arrived to take us to the airport, even though we had a late flight. Thank you Maria, from all of us for an amazing stay in Crete xx

From the first day until our last in the hotel the staff was always responsive to our needs, always asking if we needed anything, very friendly from the receptionists to the cleaning ladies. Very clean private beach, spotless sand, quick sunbed service and comfortable sunbeds. Rooms with a high quality standard, modern and always clean. both breakfast and dinner were varied, for all tastes and from all international cuisines. We also want to mention Liana, from the guest relations service. She was so great with us. Ask her about anything you want or can do in the hotel or outside the hotel. She will help you with everything! For sure we will come back to Nautilux!

Service was exceptional with staff going above and beyond making excellent recommendations and providing an amazing spread for breakfast. Panoramic oof top breakfasts were delicious and varied day to day. The chef was very proud of her creations and you could taste it!

Dear team of The Amalen Suites. I would like to say thank you for our stay. I work in the hospitality and luxury industry and I was really surprised to find this kind of hospitality and this quality of service in your place. I appreciate all the detals founded in your room, it’s very personnalized. (Until the embroidery on the sheets, and towels) and thanks for the equipments and the good bedding!! The breakfast was very nice, generous and typical with homemade recipe! The place is gorgeous, with a very good location. Don’t hesitate ! Carla

    Pigi is a lovely little village outside of Rethimno, it might be too quiet for some. Can easily get the bus from top of village for €2 each way or a taxi will cost you €20. Highly recommend hiring a car so you can see places like Lake Kournas or Bali . We ate in all 3 restaurants in Pigi , and also Paprika about 10 mins walk. The food is Cretan and very reasonable.
