Sami was a great place to stay! We had 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. It’s a very nice town that has a more locals living there feeling. The terrain is wonderful. Sami beach was wonderful the restaurant on Sami beach was wonderful. The acropolis of Sami was a highlight of our three week trip. The Contessa restaurant in Sami was great. And everyday we traveled to a different part of the island. The air-conditioning and shower were better than in many hotels! The campsite itself was superb with a great pool, nice gardens, bar/restaurant, easy access to a long beach, and just a short walk into Sami. The Happy Camp rep, Gabriella, was lovely. We mentioned them to Spiro. When we came back to our room later there was a packet of the sausages in our fridge which Spiro had got for us. Bar staff, reception staff, driver (Bill), breakfast room staff and of course Spiro were all wonderful. Easy walk to restaurants in Sami. Fabulous view.
