I received a very warm and professional welcome upon arriving at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. All my requests were not only met but exceeded. My car was taken care of, and my dog and I enjoyed a spacious, nice, and clean room. The hotel provided two dog bowls in the room, along with some treats for my dog, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast and service were excellent, and the check-out process was smooth. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect ! The staff of the hotel was very kind, our room was corresponding to our expectations and was calm during the night, the breakfast was of great quality with a relatively large choice of products, and the location of the hotel was ideal (in the center, close to the sea). I very liked the streets of the upper town - do not go there by car, only by foot! and ask your guide machine (or ChatGPT) to build a way to catch main sights and go through the Ana Poli streets. Great restaurants in the city, good food, and good weather will make an impression, together with the old history of the place

Public transportation is easy to use, even though the Moovit app doesn't work perfectly. Not all local bus routes to nearby areas are available directly through Google Maps, so it's a good idea to check the bus companies' own websites for up-to-date schedules.

This city left a mark on us.

This city left a mark on us. We stayed at the centre and it was full of life, restaurants, shops, events, theatres, archaeological sites, museums and a beautiful waterfront that extents for miles. Not only that, the way of life draws you in. Easy going, relaxed yet gregarious. Excellent food with a plethora of restaurants, pastry shops, bakeries and a coffee joint every 100 meters or so. This is a city for enjoying life.

Layers of history which are fascinating. The rotunda is unmissable and awe inspiring! The market has so many interesting foods, some floral herbs I’ve never even heard of! The complexity of the ancient gold jewelry in the archaeological museum puts modern jewelers in the shadows!!

Most places of interest are accessible on foot. Lots of great restaurant options if you look on Google maps. I personally thought 2 nights were enough to get a good feel for the city, there isn't a huge amount to see.

Thessaloniki is a wonderful destination to absorb Greek culture, food, and history. The city feels safe and readily walkable. Their is much hidden to uncover in the historical sites and churches and mosaics abound. Walking the western wall to the church at the top with a wonderful view of city and sea is highly recommended.

We made the booking for the Blue Bottle but were upgraded to the Maroon Bottle Suites, which belongs to the same owner and it's very close to the BBBH. Beautiful boutique hotel, situated in a quiet area, yet very close to the city centre. Large and very clean rooms, convenient breakfast. The owners and the staff are very friendly and attentive to details. We will definitely come back here if we make our way again to Thessaloniki. Very good value for money. I strongly recommend this accommodation

Everything. Came several times before in Thessaloniki and was upset we didnt found this place sooner. All the facilities needed, in the city center and very quite. Jorgo was very nice and helpful. Waited for us to arrive even though we came a bit late as we got stuck in traffic several times. Hopefully we find the place available when we come again and if we do we will never exhange it for another apartment or hotel in the city. This room deserves a 10 not a 9.5 rating.

All good with the hotel but is more a 4 star than a 5 star. Garden and terrace, lobby, reception are 5 star. Room (even if I had deluxe one) is a 4 star. The breakfast is good, but a 4 star. The swimming pool, sauna and gym are 2.5 star. Especially the swimming pool, is very small (5 sq meters, the photo is done to hide the real size). The location is on main street but quite far from the city, 40 mins walking or 10 mins by taxi.
