Like mentioned, 17 days were too long.
Like mentioned, 17 days were too long. But with a car it made a difference. My daughters boys are not young children, they are super active 17 and 14 year old teenagers and the activities my daughter and them did around the island is mindboggling. Snorkeling, scuba diving, renting bikes going all over the island. Climbing the highest point in Moni Island and jumping off cliffs. I am sure they know the island better then a lot of locals. We live in Cape Town, SA and are spoiled by unbelievable scenery, so its often hard not to compare. The time of year we chose was great. The location is quiet and relatively far away from the town, I mentioned relatively as the island is small so it doesn't take long to travel. So it's a good opportunity to stay in a quiet place with not much distance from the town. Still there are a few places to eat. Vagia is a quiet place with a great beach. If you don't like noisy clubs, tons of restaurants and supermarkets, this is the place to be. It has basically a small, but great beach, some good restaurants and one good supermarket. That's it. Very relaxing.Guest review byPietieNetherlands - 10.0

There are no many visitors in June, just perfect when you travel with small children. The only thing we found missing is the market place, but there is one in the makn town-Aegina which is not far away drom here. We were situated about 20 mins west of Vagia so not in the heart of it but it was a lovely peaceful place. If you’re looking to escape and relax it’s great. It is a quiet, intimate, non-commercial area.
It is a quiet, intimate, non-commercial area. 15 minutes by car from the old town with many cafes, restaurants, the commercial area but far enough from them to have peace and privacy. 15 minutes by car from the monastery of Sf Nectarie; there is also an ancient temple 15 minutes away by car in an area with a superb panorama. There are 2 small restaurants in the area in case you don't want to go to the commercial area. The people on the island are very kind.Guest review byDANIELARomania
