Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! The room was very clean, cozy, and well equipped, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, a wide selection of fresh and delicious food. A wonderful spacious villa, with a magnificent view and a perfect pool. The view both at night and during the day was breathtaking. The pool was excellent and enjoyed it to the max! The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was truly very kind and helpful. Would totally recommend staying here, a true gem of the area!

This was a great location, with large rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. They rang the bus company to get the local airport bus to stop for us (that’s what you have to do in Crete, apparently!) and we’d definitely stay here again.

    It's a small town with some restaurants which are really good. It is more of a tourist village than a local village. However, the food is good, there are supermarkets and souvenir boutique. Additionally, there are some activities to do, and there is a beach. We went there to take our breakfast and sometimes our dinner, but we were more often in other places.

    Beautiful village near the beach, with lots of places to visit and have breakfast , dinner, go shopping and so on. We visit Georgioupolis every year and always have a great time. It is not too crowded and you can always find things to do like go for a boat trip.

    Its fairly barren around the hotel. No other hotels. A lovely beach bar 50 m from the Oros Hotel. Apart from that you'd have to get a taxi to anywhere else. The views are stunning though over the hills and sea and the sunsets are fab. Wild goats making a nuisance of themselves, eating the hotels planting. There is a main road between the hotel and the beach but there is a tunnel under the road. It's not a big deal though. We didn't leave the hotel though other than the cockail beach bar.

    This is one of those places that is so full of tourists it doesn't feel like any greeks live here or visit. Avoid at all costs unless being surrounded by loud drunk people is your idea of a good time

    Small town with lots of accommodation of varying types and...

    Small town with lots of accommodation of varying types and prices, lots of tavernas and shops. Several supermarkets. Public bus service 10 minutes walk on the New National Road. Town beach occupied by the Corissa hotel and a local beach snack bar. beach stretches for miles to the east of town with much wider beaches and several excellent tavernas such as Margaritari which is about 8km from town. Beds here are free and the food is excellent.

    Georgioupolis is a lovely village with a square, a harbour and a beach. The square is surrounded by restaurants and bars which are open early until late, perfect for snacks and drinks during the day and a variety of menus in the evening. Situated between Reythmino and Chania for visits, plenty of walks in the surrounding countryside or laze on the beach. No nightclubs so more suited to families or those seeking a more quiet holiday. A choice of accommodations from 3- 5 stars owned by local Cretan people. Go there.

    Very nice little cozy hotel managed by a friendly family. The hotel is about 200m from the beach, has a nice pool and the rooms are cleaned daily. It is worth to add breakfast to the reservation since the breakfast is nice and have some variety every day. The lady who runs the restaurant even made us toasts to go when we were leaving, since our flight home was late in the night. All in all we loved our stay at Anatoli and can highly recommend it since it has a much nicer vibe compared to the bigger hotels down by the beach.

    Location is amazing, straight across a quiet road from the lovely beach. All staff were very friendly especially the lovely cleaning lady! Spotlessly clean. We booked the deluxe room at front of hotel with amazing view of the whole bay. Traditional small Greek hotel much better than the impersonal swanky hotels popping up on the sea front.

    Alkion family run apartments was a true find. Fantastic place, very clean & tidy, great facilities incl. a swimming pool, amazing view over the mountains and the sea. Dimitris is a fantastic host. Could not fault it. We stayed in room no.13. If I ever come to Crete again I will definitely stay here.
