    The town of Zante is lively with plenty of shopping and restaurants. The beaches and water are amazing. Most offer sun beds with amenities to spend the day. Boat trips to caves and swimming spots are a must!

    There are lots of places to eat and drink in the town as well as a variety of shops. The town is very accessible from the airport and ferry port. There is a town beach within easy walking distance. It's easy to explore the island from here as the bus station and the tourist train are here.

    We much prefer the town to the main tourist resorts.

    We much prefer the town to the main tourist resorts. We've holidayed in Zakynthos for more than 20 years now and experienced most things. The tavernas, cafes, restaurants and shops in the town are generally of a higher quality to those in the resorts, although you can pay a little more. Our favourite shop in town is Oneiropolis and if you want to buy some lovely hand made jewellery you should visit Art of P. If you want some delicious bakery items, cakes and traditional pastries then Artogonia Coffee is a must and the newly opened Venier Boulangerie has some wonderful filled croissants, cakes, filled sandwiches and ice creams. We always got our daily Freddo Cappuccino from Avant Garde close to the main square. El Greco on the same square as Avant Garde is great for atmosphere, food and cocktails. We love Kati Psinete on the harbour front as a traditional grill house and a bit further along you have Madisons and Belo for more general Mediterranean cuisine.

    My stay in Zakynthos was absolutely wonderful! The island is stunning, with clear blue waters, beautiful beaches, and charming villages. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was delicious, and the locals were warm and welcoming. A truly memorable trip—I can’t wait to return!”

    Beaches beyond magnificent.

    Beaches beyond magnificent. Natural beauties, beautiful sunsets. Good food, nice restaurants. What I didn't like about Zakynthos is that it is very touristic. If you are looking for something authentic, you have to choose places to go carefully. For example, don't go to Laganas.

    It's great to stay there as you get the most restarants, bars and everything. You don't need car to go to dinner or drinks. Beaches are near and the island isn't that big, so it's worth staying in the main town.

    Exceptional check in and check out process and amazing communication from staff to provide assistance and advice for things to do in Zakynthos. Staff met us at check in and check out, stored our bags on check out allowing us to enjoy our final day and even called us a taxi to airport. Beautiful and spacious apartment with views of the harbour and Zakynthos town. Lovely deck with views and amazing hot tub to unwind in. Hot tub fun at night as it has lots of light settings. Great to have washing facilities. Bath tub inside too.

    We stayed at the property only for one night and it was very good for what we needed. It is centrally located, just a minute from the centre of Zakynthos Town. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The staff were were friendly and helpful, it was great that we could leave our luggage for couple of cours after checking out. Overall, it was more than you could expect from a 2* hotel.

    The host was amazing, always willing to go the extra mile for us. The beds were so comfy, they provided us with a home-like sleep. The view of Zakynthos was truly breathtaking. There is a relaxing beach about a 5 minute walk away and only a short walk into Zakynthos town which provided us with good shopping and delicious food.

    We had a perfect sea view from our room great for watching the sun rise. The hotel was also in the centre of everything and the owner very helpful. It was cold at night but our room was very toast with a comfortable bed and great shower.

    The hotel was in a good location, close to the centre. The receptionist was friendly and gave us recommendations for eating out. The breakfast was ok and there were plenty of parking spaces.
