Absolutely! Here’s a glowing review you could use: --- Staying at Hilton Croatia was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a warm and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The breathtaking views of swaying palm trees and the endless blue ocean set the perfect backdrop for a truly relaxing getaway. The room was **huge**, elegantly designed, and packed with fantastic amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. Every little detail, from the plush bedding to the luxurious bathroom, was carefully curated for a top-tier experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hospitality—we had a minor baggage mishap, and to our surprise, the staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with a **thoughtful bottle of champagne**. Their kindness and commitment to excellent service made all the difference. If you’re looking for a destination that combines stunning views, exceptional comfort, and world-class hospitality, Hilton Croatia is a **must-visit**. We can’t wait to return!

The staff’s service was excellent. On the last day, I had to check out early in the morning for my flight, and when I consulted the front desk about it the day before, they kindly explained the route to the airport and even arranged a wake-up call and a breakfast box for me. In many other aspects as well, I received good service and had a pleasant hotel stay.

Dubrovnik old town was wonderful... stunning, beautiful..

Dubrovnik old town was wonderful... stunning, beautiful..Lots of nice places to eat at reasonable prices. Specifically recommend Dubravka restaurant at Pile Gate and Grandska Kavana Arsenal at the harbour. Food, service and value for money all good at both. Take the cable car ... great views... and have a drink in the Panorama restaurant at the top... even more spectacular views. Walk the city wall ... there are lots of steps but it is safe. Wear sensible shoes! It's a unique experience and worth the cost. Take one of the organised bus tours around Dubrovnik. We enjoyed the Orange bus XL tour... good to see outside the main town and good commentary in various languages. Get a local bus to nearby Cavtat which is a lovely fishing port ... then get boat back to Dubrovnik. We did all this in 2 leisurely days and it was fabulous. Easy to walk around Dubrovnik and we always felt safe... but local buses are also pretty good. We were there mid October and the weather was nice...not too hot at 20 degrees and place was busy but not crowded as I hear it is in the summer. Its a must see place!

The old town is stunning the walls being beyond impressive.

The old town is stunning the walls being beyond impressive. However it is super super busy and quite expensive, we found a tapas bar Alamaka which had great food and quite reasonable price. The city overall had a good vibe but 2 full days was enough of me, if your a game of thrones fan you will love the place.

Dubrovnik is a wonderful city to visit but can get very busy. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to visit the main sites if you want to avoid the tour groups. The 3 and 7 day passes, to visit the main sites, are good value. Walking the city walls is a must and don't forget West Harbour, just outside the city walls.

Really enjoyed the Old Town despite all of the Game of Thrones tours! Although there were lots of quite expensive bars and restaurants, we found some reasonable and very good places, especially for seafood and cocktails. Best time to walk the city walls was late afternoon, after most of the cruise ship groups had gone. Although there was a cable car up to the top of Mt Sdj, we walked up the path, which was great and took about 50 mins. The Homeland War museum in the fort at the top is well worth a visit.

Dubrovnik is very expensive and full of American tourists who, unfortunately, come to the city only because of the filming locations. Compared to my experience 20 years ago, it was a big disappointment — it didn’t offer the same atmosphere or feeling that the city once had.

I don't think we have ever eaten as well on a short city break as we did in Dubrovnik. The cafes, restaurants and bars were excellent. We particularly loved the Carmen Trattoria. I would recommend a trip on the cable car for superb views of the city, coast and mountains and a walk around the city walls is a 'must do'. The city is perhaps a little more expensive than we expected and gets very crowded especially when there are cruises in the nearby harbour.

This small hotel (only 6 rooms) was a hidden oasis just 2min walk from one of the main old town entrances. From the private gardens you can also glimpse the water and it is also only a short walk to a little swimming spot with picturesque bars. The lovely staff were friendly, the room was 5 star newly renovated luxury and the breakfast was thoughtfully put together. If I ever make it back to Dubrovnik this is where I will stay!

Not too busy. Was full but plenty of sunbeds. Shady and sunny places which was great. Good jet skiing. Its by the sea but its rocky. So not really a sandy beach. But nice place. Very chilled and relaxed. A grown ups hotel. Nice for families that like it chilled. Good food options. Concierge services were excellent. Free parking. Great access to Old town by the bus. Dubrovnik is a really nice city. The hotel does it justice.

Hotel location is excellent, friendly staff, no 4 bus into the old town from directly outside the hotel entrance. The hotel beach is stoney and rocky, but don't let this put you off for it's like snorkeling in your own aquarium, a real treat. This was my second time staying in Dubrovnik, and Hotel Vis.
