This apartment is well, modern and thoughtfully furnished. It has everything you need during your stay. The terrace has a beautiful view of Motovun. The owner is friendly and ready to help with storing your bikes or any other problems. In an emergency, you can fill your bikes with an air compressor. I recommend!

They allowed our group of 6 to take all 3 rooms on the same floor instead of the other building, I think because we'd been there before and had fond memories of the deck right off that 2nd floor. Our host was wonderful! She made us feel totally at home. The breakfast she provided was excellent. If we get to go to Croatia again, we will definitely stay at the Villa Borgo and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Motovun! I hope we will have our same hostess--she was beloved by all of us!

We had a wonderful stay at Prospect Motovun Studio. The apartment was beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located just next to Motovun, with amazing views of the surroundings. Goran & Martina are very helpful hosts. The view of the balcony is amazing. It is the perfect place if you plan to go sightseeing around, as everything is very close, seaside as well as small beautiful villages around and even Italy. We will come back again.

We had an amazing time at Villa Luna. The apartment is both beautiful and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the living area features a lovely fireplace that keeps you warm and adds to the ambiance. The views from the apartment overlooking the valley are absolutely stunning. The host was incredibly friendly and made communication effortless.     Great little town to walk around in. Great local wineries. Amazing local fruit stand as you make your way up the hill. He had the best selection of the most wonderful fruit and veggies. The ice cream was fantastic. Sampling of truffles and local alcohol without being pressured was amazing. Just fantastic hospitality overall shown by the locals.

    Motovun is a wonderful place full of history and unique charm, though travelers should know that almost all of the restaurants and bars are closed during the month of February. In February it resembles a ghost town.

    Beautiful ancient town with much to see and lots of great restaurants and shops. Not great for people with mobility issues of any kind. The walking is a bit of a workout. Very steep hills and cobblestone roads. Parking seems to be an issue.

    Motovun is a charming and almost fairy-tale like village on a hill. We felt like we had completely gone back in time; yet, we had easy access to almost all of the rest of Istria from there, including seaside towns, wine tasting, truffle hunting, olive oil tasting and local shopping. The furthest town was Pula. Everything else was more like 30 minutes. We are spending two weeks in Croatia and we are so thankful we spent three days/nights in Motovun as our hub for visiting Istria. Heads up: it is a lot of uphill walking on cobblestones to get into the center of town - but SO worth it.

    Great place for lovers of medieval hill-top towns and truffles. One can enjoy just a stroll through the town and views of surroundings for an hour, can have a great dining experience or stay for days and explore Istria, one of the prettiest and welcoming places on earth. "Medieval" and "hill-top" also mean that you walk a lot on rugged cobblestone, you walk uphill and climb stairs, and "great place" means it's crowded in the high season (summer). Still, one of the better places to escape to from crowded coastal towns, focused primarily on visitors' wallets.

    A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore.

    A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore. Be sure to visit the cathedral (opened about 10 during our visit) and (carefully) climb the bell tower for a spectacular view of the valley and beyond. We visited in late October when some businesses had closed for the season and others were winding down. We would visit again in September.

    The agritourism farm is nestled among beautiful hills, dotted with vineyards and the charming town of Motovun. It exudes an idyllic atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. The hosts are incredibly hospitable, serving home-cooked meals and, for the most curious guests, offering insights into the history of the surrounding areas. This place is completely authentic, and I must emphasize that it's not a hotel with typical amenities. If you want to experience authentic Istria, you must come here.

    It was very quaint, right in the heart of exquisite Motovun. Comfortable though small room. Fantastic breakfast for 30 euros for 2, though i think the cafes were open on the Sunday morning, even though we were told they wouldn't be. Plenty of homemade items and extensive choices served at the table.

    Hotel is nice and clean, has a beautiful view of the vineyards and sunset. Food in the restaurant (dinner) is amazing, our waiter was very kind and professional. We parked the car in the garage, which is convenient in the summer.
