Everything about this place is breathtaking. Except for one thing: the sheer number of tourists. That's why it's worth sleeping there to enjoy the place late at night and especially in the morning. Trogir was a great base for us. We loved the old town and there are many excellent beaches on Ciovo. We could access Spilt very easily by boat and bus. Restaurants were excellent but quite expensive. Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. We had delicious pastries and coffee brought to our apartment every morning and Jelena prepared a platter of local hams and cheese for us on our last night. She even offered us lifts into Trogir town if we wanted. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had we of wanted it would have been cleaned daily!
