Everything about this place is breathtaking. Except for one thing: the sheer number of tourists. That's why it's worth sleeping there to enjoy the place late at night and especially in the morning. Trogir was a great base for us. We loved the old town and there are many excellent beaches on Ciovo. We could access Spilt very easily by boat and bus. Restaurants were excellent but quite expensive. Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. Trogir is a beautiful town with a very special atmosphere. We especially loved the Riva — the lively waterfront promenade that fills with tourists every evening. There’s a wide variety of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. What really caught our eye were the stunning views of luxury yachts docked along the Riva. The town is full of street artists and performers, giving it a vibrant and lively vibe.
