We stayed at Flaw Residence for one night while cycling around Lake Balaton. The apartment was perfectly equipped with new, modern furniture and a great kitchen. The bed was large and very comfortable. The location is ideal—right on the Balaton cycling route. The manager was extremely helpful bringing us a cable to charge our bikes. As a nice surprise, there was a bottle of delicious local wine in the fridge. The apartment features two terraces (one private and one at the entrance), and the pool is just a few steps away from the door.

    Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town.

    Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town. In places quite smelly, some houses need a bit of love and well kept houses have wildly diverse architecture, but generally the town feels safe and offers a lot of restarurants, ferry service, some water attractions and playgrounds for kids. Be aware though, very very few people (even young) speak foreign language there. What a difference in comparison to Györ in the North of Hungary, where everyone we met in the public areas spoke either English or German on a reasonable level. People are neither unfriendly, nor friendly; I fell like they just don't care about foreign tourists and mostly avoid communication due to a language barrier.

    Really good location in the heart of Fonyod 5 minute walk to Panoráma Strand and next to the market terrain. Near bakery and supermarket. Big spacious appartement. Big bathtub. Even though on booking.com it says there are no cribs available the host did arrange not only a crib but even a highchair and a box/playpen for our baby 🥰 Host was helpful in resorting the reported issues. (Tripped breaker, missing drain plugs) Nice insect screens an a lot of windows have shutters/blinds. Upon request we could check in early.

    Excellent property and location. Modern, well appointed apartments. Has aircon, TV, washing machine etc. Great location. 1km to Fonyod flat walk. Nearby is a snack-shack and a couple of lakeside restaurants about 15min walk. Pool is a bit cold but useable. Lake is very warm but shallow this side - ideal for children. Right on the lake, nice garden area at the front of the building too. Highly recommended. Would come back.

    Nice apartment in a newly built building with direct access to lake Balaton. Well equipped kitchen area, air conditioned living room, small bedroom, seating area in the garden, a jacuzzi in the garden, side view on the Balaton from the garden seating area. It was clean and very quiet as April is off-season at Balaton. Fenced parking space is included. There is a LIDL supermarket within 1 km.

    We stayed for 3 nights and was absolutely fine. We travelled to Fonyod by train so it was about a 20 minute walk from the railway station. The property was clean and ha air - con which was very much appreciated. Basically resembled everything in the pictures.
