Nice relaxed rural/coastal Bali, great place to just wind it back and take time to slow down. Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. The trip from Denpasar is long and arduous but worth it, The setting in the National reserve is beautiful, The rooms are quite excellent. The staff are absolutely lovely. Great coral, fish, octopus, small reef shark, barracuda etc. Can walk up coast (with or with guide) saw deer, civet cat (also in hotel area overnight), wild pigs, huge Monitor lizard, huge bats, birds everywhere.
