Amazing location, great sunset views over the water, a little outside of the main centre but worth it for the views and its easy to get a Grab moto to the main strip of restaurants or the staff can organise delivery for you. Room was huge and very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, arranged tours and snorkelling gear for us, packed lunches, even provided us with a kettle so we could make our own coffee in the morning.

We had an amazing time at the homestay, we feel welcomed and part of the local community. Despite this experience may be out of your comfort zone and the village may be noisy at night or a little dirty with plastic, we really recommend it because we experienced one of the most beautiful moments of our trip to Indonesia that we will always carry in our hearts! The homestay is located in a small village in komodo island. We stay in a building at the second floor and we share the apartment with a local family that cooked good food for us. The rooms were simple but confortable with fan. The bathroom has a proper toilette and a shower. Jhojo paid a lot of attention to all our needs and he was very kind, friendly and speaks a very good english. He brought us to the best spots in Komodo National Park at the best time to avoid the crowd of tourists. Moreover he taught us how to live side by side with komodo Dragons, which live on the island! For the trip during the day we used a local boat, contributing to all the village economy, and we very appreciate this. We had an amazing time together and hope to come back one day!

This is a homestay with the one of the local people of Komodo village, who is also a Komodo park ranger. It is not a hotel and does not at all have western standards or facilities, so it is not possible to review as a hotel. The reason to go here is that it provides a base for a more genuine experience of the Komodo park than going on the speedboats. The owner Jeki can organize tours with the same itinerary (dragon treks, Padar Island, snorkeling and so on) but with just yourself and your company where you will have peace and quiet and lots of time to do whatever you want, not being surrounded by 50 other people. You will get there by fishing boat, and the local people of Komodo of course are the best at knowing all about the area and where all the animals can be found, I saw lots of dragons, mantas and turtles. I was warmly welcomed and got to eat home cooked delicious Indonesian food. My bedroom was on the top floor, had a fan and was sea front with beautiful view, I could sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The bathroom was downstairs and shared with the family. There is wifi although the signal is unreliable. To get here you can either take the public local ferry or arrange with Jeki to pick you up at the airport and go by fishing boat, as I did. My journey took about 3-3,5 hours one way. Jeki is easily contacted on his WhatsApp. It was all a great adventure and a more authentic Komodo trip than I otherwise would have had.

It was very amazing place. We lived in the middle of village with very interesting people. There are 2000 people living there and everyone knows each other. They are one big family. Jhuna was taken well with us, he was very polite and helpful. The acvomodation was beautiful and clean a with excellent food. We met 14 Komodská dragons. Very impressive animals. Likewise, Manta in the sea. The trips were excellently organized, the ship's crew behaved professionally and led the ship safely even in bad weather. If you want to get to know Komo do up, this is the best choice!

Do not book your boat tour, book this instead ! The host, Mr Jahiding, will be your tour guide. Everything is settled the moment you land in Labuan Bajo. A car will be there waiting to bring you to the harbour and a boat is chartered just for you to Komodo island and back. If you need a quick getaway and want the best wildlife and scenic experience, this is what you need. Komodo Village has one of the friendliest people you can ever meet. They are extremely welcoming and treat you just like family. The itinerary for your stay is so much better than the boat tours where so many activities are packed within your short stay on the boat. Living like a local, you can decide how long you spend snorkelling with the manta rays or just sitting by these prehistoric dinosaurs in the komodo national park (komodo dragons). During my stay, I managed to play football with the locals which was an experience on its own. The locals are so friendly that one of them even invited me to his personal home for a meal which was so heart warming. I was lucky enough to be invited to join the men to go on a spearfishing trip in the middle of the night which is not something your tour agencies can offer. Not to mention, I also caught my own dinner on my second day during snorkelling at one of the most remote beaches in the world. Doubt your tour boat allows for that. Everyone should experience this at least once and I would reccomend a good length of stay would be 4D3N which is perfect but 5D4N for the ultimate Komdo experience. Look for Mr Jahiding and I am confident he will make your experience here even better than mine. He speaks great english so communication was not an issue. You will enjoy the best and most delicious local food cooked by your very own home chef too (his wife). A very sad departure but I am confident I will be back. Nice people, good food, interesting place

Great location close to Komodo National Park. Fantastic house reef with vast and healthy coral. Villas are very comfortable, cleaned twice a day with all amenities you’d expect from a resort. Great food a la carte with daily specials. Optional full day and half a day trips to Komodo National Park are great and well organised. Snorkeling boat trips are fantastic too with multiple sites to visit. Great sunsets and sunrises at the top of the hill you can hike easily from the resort.

Beautiful villa! This is truly wonderful accommodation. Comfortable, large, modern, spacious, clean and bright! Well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with a garden and pool! This was the best accommodation of our entire trip! Furthermore, the owners are incredibly kind and helpful and communication with them was extremely easy! Highly recommended! It was a perfect stay and i hope i will be able to come back again!
