The villa was beautiful and traditional style, and the outdoor bathroom felt very luxurious (not sure if all rooms have one so worth checking when you book if you want one). Location was handy for the airport, and the garden was a beautiful spot for a relaxing breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including helping me arrange a last-minute taxi from the airport despite it being later in the evening.

Honestly, a well deserved 5-star review. The staff’s energy is just so lovely, super helpful with the biggest, genuine smile. The room was super clean, every part of it; comfortable bed, nice shower, massive new fridge, enough space to unpack your luggage,… And for the first time, I actually enjoyed the swimming pool. It’s long, deep and not chockful of chlorine/chemicals. Another awesome feature I realize now with moving to another accomodation as the room sadly couldn’t be extended, is that there’s no noise from the Mosque’s, chickens or anything else. My sleep was sound & deep. Highly recommend this place. Ps. Right next door is a lovely breakfast place where you can mix and match any kind of meal you can think of.

We had the most wonderful stay at Lobster Bay – truly a place to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location. I literally fell in love with this hotel. Every single corner is carefully curated and building/furniture is super well maintained. We found every single item in the room perfectly cleaned. No insects in the room. Area is very quiet and peaceful which we loved. Perfect spot to work remotely. Pool area was very comfy and you can see all guests spending time every day at the sun beds. But if I can highlight something is the lovely staff. Super friendly. They make you feel very welcomed and taken care of. If I come back to Bali I will 100% make sure to spend days in Lombok just to stay at this hotel again.

Jati Villas are simply beautiful. The plunge pool is very deep and the garden is stunning. They have adopted the Joglo style but have modernised sympathetically and have designed the space to afford total privacy. Their dining and bar area is also beautifully styled so we chose to have our breakfasts in this area. The breakfasts are generous with great coffee! Jati Villas are in the heart of Kuta but tucked down a lane so are quiet. (This is Lombok so the call to prayer is part of the experience) They provided us with a very good scooter for our stay and were happy to give us advice on the best beaches and surf breaks in the area- so helpful! I would totally recommend this beautiful, intimate place for you slice of luxury while in Kuta.
