Senggigi is a little underdeveloped if con=mpared to big cities but you can still get all your basic amenities. The people are super friendly and the cost of living is generally low. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful and there are many places to view mother nature in all her glory. Public transport is nonexistent but you can use Grab App to book taxi or motorbike rides. Renting a scooter is a very good way to get around. Just remember to ride safely and wear helmet. The crowds are slowly coming back to Lombok and Senggigi.Guest review bySawDustSGSingapore - 10

Not much to see or do.
Not much to see or do. You must have some form of private transport. We used the ferry to Padangbai. It was 35 minutes from where we stayed and Mataram, the capital was about the same time in the opposite direction.Guest review byTerry MacAustralia - 10

- The sunset view is superb! With clear weather, you can easily spot Mount Agung from Senggigi beach. - Going around, you will need to rent motorbike or taxi. You can book Bluebird taxi from the hotel or apps, the driver will mostly offer a day trip to all the places you want to visit. - Convenience stores are easily available - Indo Maret & Alfa Maret. - Island hopping, snorkeling and private trip to the 3 Gili islands (Trawangan, Meno, Air) is easily available with cheap prices. - Restaurants that serves authentic local food mostly located in Mataram City, it is about 30mins drive from Senggigi.
