I had a truly wonderful stay here! The place is beautiful, very peaceful, and perfectly designed for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, with a super comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with hot water. What really makes this place special are the owners – they are absolutely delightful, incredibly kind, and always ready to help with anything you need. They gave me great tips about things to do in Sidemen and made me feel so welcome. I had an amazing night here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Damai Rohani - the space was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. The staff were extremely attentive and went above and beyond to help us arrange transport and activities during our stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the pool was an amazing bonus. This was definitely our favourite accommodation from our time in Bali.

The bungalow was new, clean and exactly as shown on the photos on the website. All staff were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant has amazing views over the rice terraces of sidemen. It is a short walk to the main street with various restaurants and warungs. Overall, the Devani resort definitely exceeded our expectations.

Amazing place. Staff was very nice and helpful. The view from the bungalows is beautiful and the room itself was better than expected, clean and spacious. We had AC and also a fan above the bed. I highly recommend the massage and body scrub, booking was fast and easy and the treatment itself very good and relaxing and the spa place looked very nice. The food at the restaurant is tasty and the menu contains a lot of options. Just keep in mind that the accommodation is located in a rice field so you may see/hear certain insects/animals. We also saw a snake near our bungalow, but the staff assured us that is not dangerous based on the colors and size that we described, but it is common in the rice fields.

We only stayed a late afternoon and night while making our way to the North of Bali. There are a few tours that you can do, and I plan on coming back next year for 3 nights instead. It’s the perfect place to unplug and get away from buzz of city life whether it’s in the south or back home in a large city.

I have been to Bali many times and tell people "it's not all traffic, crowds and beach clubs; you will find that Bali you want to find" For me, that is Sidemen, which feels like Ubud 50 years ago. So lush and beautiful. I did a silver jewellery workshop, and the rice terraces trek. I wanted to go white-water rafting, but I am over 64 years old and they had no insurance coverage for someone my age. On a previous visit, I combined a few days on Gilli Air with a few days in Sidemen as it is close to Padang Bai. It is a great location for exploring central and east coast Bali. Traffic is not too bad. The climate is a littler cooler than the coast which makes a nice respite.

Sidemen is a beautiful village, quiet and reminds you of how you imagine Bali used to be like. Having said that, it has some top eating places. Rice fields all around, silver classes, cooking classes, place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, stunning views, refreshingly not overdeveloped. For me it was a glimpse of the real Bali. Activities include walking through rice fields, swimming in waterfalls and making your own silver jewellery with the help of skilled local artisans

The beauty of the area was what I had hoped to find in...

The beauty of the area was what I had hoped to find in Indonesia. It just took a bit to find it. A windy journey up into the hills made for an exhilarating welcome to the mountainous area of Bali. A lovely escape from the scooters & vehicles of Ubud & Legian, I can highly recommend the rice field walk & a visit to Gembleng Waterfall. The view from the top of the hill at Koli Koli restaurant is amazing. A must visit for those seeking an authentic Balinese experience

Sideman was amazing - 100% nicer than Ubud felt like true Bali and easy access to beaches (virgin and blue lagoon) only 45 minutes by car so great alternative if weather bad in sideman - it’s so green for a reason!

IT IS ALL ABOUT THE VIEW - All rooms face the majesty of Mt Agung - this is what Sidemen is all about. Our room was huge, comfortable, clean, & well appointed. The staff were kind, courteous, and friendly. The restaurant was being renovated but the room service meals and cocktails were great and reasonably priced. Our infinity pool was huge and we spent hours lounging around just watching Mt Agung reveal itself in its many glorious moods. I would challenge any Sidemen hotel to have a better view!

Superb authentic hotel surrounded by nature, with an incredible view of the Sidemen valley. The room is open with a panoramic view, it really has a Balinese atmosphere and is an experience not to be missed. It's a change from ‘Westernised’ hotels and allows you to really immerse yourself in the Balinese countryside. The hosts are lovely and really accommodating. Communication with the hosts is very active and designed to make it easy to check in. We were really delighted with this experience!

We had a wonderful time at the Wapa di Ume, we went there to stay for 2 nights but we decided to stay one more night because we loved the place. The staff is very nice and helpful, they offer free walking tours for their guests and free car tour also. Near the hotel there is a wonderful vegan restaurant, Amandinii restaurant, Pepper the owners dog welcomes you if you go there, he's very playful and loving. we loved everyting about Sidemen! Thank you

Excellent stay. Gusti and his family is a gem. They had us as their extended family. Guided us to all the places to visit and ideal time to visit them. Lovely place with spotless clean bathrooms and bed. Sidemen rice terrace and sidemen river bridge is all walking distance to the property. Love to visit again when in Sidemen.
